Meet at the Mountain Top --- Han Land Nine Provinces: Jiangling
Many people are afraid of self-driving during the National Day holiday, but for those of us who work from nine to five, how can we bear to stay put and not go out to enjoy the scenery? There is joy in poverty, joy in personal freedom. Family, let's go!
Driving from Guangzhou for 14 hours, we arrived at Jingzhou (Jiangling), a place fiercely contested during the Three Kingdoms period. Two experienced drivers took turns driving, so it wasn't too tiring. Because we started late, we arrived near evening. It's worth mentioning that gao parked the car at a service area, and we took a taxi (15 minutes) to the hotel ๐, planning to drive again after the highway became free... saving 600 yuan in tolls. Spending money is easy, earning is hard, so we need to be frugal. Then we didn't have much time to explore, so we went to Bingyang Tower to feel the Three Kingdoms atmosphere.
Everyone enthusiastically took a stroll, tasted the local rice wine. After one cup, I actually felt a bit dizzy ๐ซ. The cold shrimp drink was also fun to drink. Finally, we had dinner at a popular late-night food stall. A bit embarrassed because I didn't know how to order ๐, under the blunt uncle's shouts, I timidly ordered a small hotpot ๐. The yellow beef was really great, very flavorful and aromatic ๐. It cost 37 yuan per person, and we even packed two beef buns for breakfast. Thus we ended our first stop, tired but satisfied!!
