The history of the Sumida River Fireworks Festival dates back 300 years. Along with the Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival and Tokyo Bay Grand Fireworks Festival (cancelled due to Olympic construction), it is known as one of the "Three Major Fireworks Festivals of Tokyo." The Sumida River Fireworks Festival has two venues on either side of Asakusa Station. The ideal spot to watch the fireworks is around the Sumida River, which flows through eastern Tokyo into Tokyo Bay, especially near Asakusa Station, where large crowds often gather. After the completion of Tokyo Skytree, it has not only become a new symbol of Tokyo but also an iconic sight for the Sumida River Fireworks Festival.
*Due to the pandemic, this year's Sumida River Fireworks Festival has been canceled.

The Nagano Ebisu Fireworks Festival has a history of over 100 years. It is the largest fireworks festival in Japan in late autumn and the only one in November. Starting in 1899 (Meiji 32), its century-long history has made this fireworks festival a highly anticipated late autumn event, drawing visitors from all over. The festival's characteristic is "getting bigger and bigger," with increasingly large fireworks. Over 15,000 fireworks light up the night sky with stunning colors, lights, and sounds in just over two hours.
However, in 2019, due to the impact of Super Typhoon Hagibis, the 114th Nagano Ebisu Fireworks Festival, which had been prepared since early spring, was ultimately canceled.
Suwa Lake Festival Fireworks Show
Address: On Suwa Lake, in front of Lakeside Park, Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture
When thinking of Suwa Lake in Shinshu, besides the animated film "Your Name," the Suwa Lake New Fireworks Show held every August is a must-see performance. With thousands of fireworks launching in a spectacular display, it is dazzling and unforgettable. Accompanied by songs, the atmosphere is truly remarkable.
The Niagara Falls fireworks, elegantly cascading from the lake surface for about 2 km, and the unique "Kiss of Fire" water fireworks are exclusive to Suwa Lake. The "Kiss of Fire" refers to fireworks that burst extremely close to the water surface, blooming like semicircular flowers. Using the mirror effect of the lake, the semicircular fireworks connect with their reflection to form a perfect circle.
The festival launches over 40,000 fireworks, the highest number in Japan, making it a renowned and unmissable fireworks event.

515 Fosun Family Day
In 1993, the United Nations General Assembly, to express the international community's recognition of the importance of families, declared May 15 as the International Day of Families, aiming to call on people worldwide to care about family happiness and promote family harmony.
This day is not only the International Day of Families established by the UN but also a special day for Fosun Tourism Group. With the vision of "making global families happier," Fosun officially launched the "Fosun Family Day" in 2019. This year's "Fosun Family Day" also offers many discounts. Over this month, Fosun Tourism has shared small gestures of appreciation and offered multiple promotions, genuinely cherishing every family and helping create wonderful journeys starting from home.
Fireworks are fleeting, but in that moment, they bloom into brilliant sparks, perhaps forever etched in the heart as summer memories. When the world is safe and sound, go with your family, enjoy Fosun's "double pampering," and set off on a splendid fireworks date with your loved ones!
