The 2020 new cultural tourism blockbuster of Qingdao, 'Qingdao Bringing the Beat' music flash mob MV, lovingly created by Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, was officially released today. Viewers can search for the keyword 'Qingdao Bringing the Beat MV' on Weibo, WeChat, and major video platforms to watch it. The full video is 263 seconds long and captures 92 high-quality shots at 37 scenic spots across the city, showcasing its unique resources and activities. For this video, more than 100 extras were specially recruited. A set of behind-the-scenes numbers shows the bureau's dedication. Nearly a hundred shots, nearly a hundred actors – they hope this 'double hundred work' will impress the public.
Some say this is a 'good-looking' video, like a Qingdao version of 'La La Land', a visual feast of Qingdao. First, it is good-looking for its 'variety': the video's camera language is rich and diverse, each shot's angle has its uniqueness, constantly changing between fast and slow, continuously bringing visual impact and freshness. Second, it is good-looking for its 'colorfulness': the colors of every frame are very vivid. Besides accurately expressing Qingdao's iconic colors of 'red tiles and green trees, blue sea and sky', it also presents many new Qingdao colors, such as the passionate and energetic Tsingtao Beer yellow, the chic and tranquil classical gray, and the tender and tempting cherry blossom pink. The video is divided into three chapters. Chapter one is the awakening chapter: the female lead wakes up at Golden Beach, and in a half-asleep state 'teleports' to different scenes – Laoshan Giant Peak, Badaguan, and the Catholic Church – where she meets her friends, and they set off together to explore every street and alley of Qingdao. Then the short film enters chapter two, the flash mob chapter: the five sisters shuttle and experience various places in Qingdao, including the lovely Polar Ocean World, the exciting Fantawild Dreamland, the popular University Road internet-famous wall... Then they come to May Fourth Square, inviting tourists and citizens to join in the melody of 'My Qingdao' and dance the cheerful 'Beat Dance', conveying Qingdao's fashionable rhythm through a flash mob dance. The ending of the video further reflects the thoughtfulness of Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism: they invited representatives from the cultural tourism industry and the medical industry, as well as citizen representatives of different ages, to speak out the rhythm of Qingdao in their hearts.
