Traveling to Japan with a 6-Year-Old on a Group Tour
Gather at the airport at noon on Sunday, depart for Osaka, Japan, and stay in Osaka that night.
The second day: Osaka Castle, Nara Todaiji Temple, the ancient streets of Naramachi, feeding the Nara deer, stay in Nara;
The third day: Kyoto's Geisha district, Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), Kyoto's Miyama Village, stay in Nagoya;
The fourth day: heavy snow, Mount Fuji canceled, only went to Hakone's Oshino Hakkai scenic area, ate the only kind of Japanese snack - takoyaki, stayed in tatami, soaked in hot springs;
The fifth day: Tokyo's Imperial Palace Nijubashi Bridge, Tokyo Disneyland, stay at Narita Airport in Tokyo.
Here I'll record the Disney trip: very lucky, played 7 attractions in 3 hours, relatively few visitors, got to play all the attractions we wanted, played favorite ones twice. High-tech, realistic sound and visual simulations, colorful lights - Tongtong experienced it all. Also browsed the souvenir shop and bought a Toy Story figurine. The sixth day: return, at Tokyo Narita Airport, Tongtong went to the restroom by herself.
Summary: This trip drew on the experience from the Guilin trip: no snacks, no cold milk, don't eat too much at meals. Although we rose early and went to bed late, and the food was not to our taste, we made good use of time on the tour bus to catch up on sleep. Throughout the 6-day itinerary, Tongtong kept up all the way.
