Popular Chinese Restaurant in Tokyo: Chinese Home Cooking Yang
When I came to Tokyo to study two years ago, I lived near Ikebukuro and found a Sichuan restaurant nearby, so I stopped by to try it. The first time I ate there, the flavor was pretty good. Since I had just arrived in Japan and didn't cook for myself, I often came to this restaurant on weekends. I had the New Year's Eve dinner of the Year of the Tiger here with classmates. Last year I moved and no longer lived in Ikebukuro, but I still often take the train to eat here.
Take the escalator from Ikebukuro Station Exit C7
After exiting, head south, pass the 7-Eleven convenience store, turn right at the next intersection, and you'll see it.
There are many Chinese liquors and Japanese liquors on the counter.
Dan Dan noodles, potstickers, Mapo tofu, and mixed three-shred salad are the signature dishes, almost every table orders them.
Spicy chicken and garlic slivered pork are also delicious.
Boss Aunt Yang has been running this restaurant for nearly 30 years. She is very kind and friendly, and has even appeared on the Japanese TV show "Solitary Gourmet."
Every meal time, there is a queue at the door.
