A Collection of Desserts in Vienna, Austria
Did you know? Vienna, Austria is actually the dessert capital of Europe!
Last time I went to Vienna, I ate a lot of delicious desserts. Let me share with you which places I visited:
1. Cafe Am Hof
First is the Vienna Golden Triangle Fashion District in the center of the first district. There, Cafe Am Hof has very tasty desserts. My favorite is their giant macaron and the summer-limited ice cream, especially the caramel flavor. The ice cream has little bits of crunchy cookies in it. It's the best ice cream I've ever had in Vienna!!
Address: Am Hof 2 (5,430.61 mi), Vienna, Austria 1010
2. Sachertorte
Sachertorte, Address: Sacher Hotel: Philharmoniker Str. 4, 1010 Wien, Austria
The famous Sachertorte is a chocolate cake world-renowned from Austria. It is said that even the former Austrian royal family loved it very much. Whenever you go, there are people queuing outside the store.
3. Cafe Central
Address: Herrengasse 14, 1010 Wien, Austria
Cafe Central has a beautiful decor, spacious and aristocratic atmosphere. In the evening, someone plays the piano, which feels very nice.
Regarding desserts, they also have many varieties, as exquisite as the first one, Cafe Am Hof. I think their chocolate cake is average, but a raspberry cake was very tasty. I also ordered a new-style fruit cake made with pear, and it tasted good too.
4. Hotel Imperial
Address: Kärntner Ring 16, 1015 Wien, Austria
Another place with piano performance is Hotel Imperial. Their signature cake has a little Mozart on top, but I ordered this raspberry chocolate cake. It's sour and sweet, with a rich and smooth chocolate flavor. There weren't many people at night, so if you want to enjoy desserts quietly, you can go here.

To summarize the above dessert shops, my top recommendation is the first one, Cafe Am Hof. In terms of taste, variety, service, and the beauty of the shop, it is the best among the four. Also, transportation is very convenient, and it's a nice itinerary to shop and take photos there.
