In early to mid-April 2025, I joined Viking's 11-day Danube River European tour. At the tenth stop of the cruise, in Vienna, the capital of Austria, we enjoyed a concert of famous works by Mozart and Strauss. Photo taken at the LORALY Theater in Vienna.

The last day of the itinerary was still spent in Vienna. Vienna cannot do without music for a single day, so Viking River Cruises specially arranged for us to enjoy a concert at the LORALY Theater in Vienna. Pictured is the entrance of the LORALY Theater.

Vienna is the cradle of European classical music, because Vienna is the birthplace of European classical music, where many famous classical musicians were born. Pictured is the billboard of the LORALY Theater.

As a true music capital, the beautiful melodies of classical music always float over Vienna. Every day, many concerts are held in elegant venues in the city, continuing Vienna's long musical tradition. Photo taken at the LORALY Theater.

The LORALY Theater is a historic building with good acoustics and lighting effects. The performance was by the Vienna Hofburg Palace Orchestra.

The Vienna Hofburg Palace Orchestra was founded in 1989. Although still young, it holds concerts every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from April to October, performing works by Mozart and Strauss.

At this concert specially arranged for us by Viking River Cruises, we enjoyed Strauss's classic waltzes and beautiful excerpts from Mozart's opera "The Magic Flute."

The performers singing the opera "The Magic Flute" were very professional.

I liked every piece played, and my favorite was "The Blue Danube Waltz."

With two dancers gracefully dancing on stage, the live experience was truly immersive, something that can never be achieved with home speakers.

To the sound of "Radetzky March," our 11-day Danube River cruise came to an end.
