Washington D.C. to Host 2023 World Culture Festival
Recently, Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, together with global humanitarian, peacemaker, and founder of the Art of Living Foundation, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, jointly announced that the World Culture Festival is coming to the United States, bringing you an unforgettable experience. This amazing global arts festival, hosted by the Art of Living Foundation, will be held from September 29 to October 1, 2023, on the National Mall in Washington D.C., to celebrate humanity's culture, diversity, and unity.
Visitors from around the world will travel to Washington D.C. for the World Culture Festival to experience the richness of human diversity through music, art, food, dance, meditation, inspiring speeches, and other activities. This landmark festival will bring the world together to uplift the human spirit and reaffirm our collective commitment to peace and unity.

Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar said: "In a world like this, it is time for us to come together and celebrate, to appreciate the rich diversity on this planet. Also, it is an important moment to reaffirm that we are one family."
The upcoming fourth World Culture Festival in Washington D.C. is an Olympic-scale celebration, with over 180 countries expected to participate. Thousands of artists from various fields have committed to this celebration. Specific details of the event will be announced later.

Bangalore (2006): 2.5 million attendees, including 3,800 musicians and performers, 750 business leaders, and 1,000 dignitaries.

New Delhi (2016): 3.75 million attendees from 155 countries, including 36,603 artists and 2,500 representatives from Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, Zoroastrianism, Islam, Jainism, Native American, and tribal faiths.
