2023 Washington Summer Restaurant Week is making a strong comeback! Before summer ends, book a table from August 28 to September 3 to enjoy meals offered by the Washington Metropolitan Restaurant Association and over 150 participating restaurants, including takeout options as well as cocktail and wine pairings.

Lunch, brunch, and multiple dinner options

Both takeout and dine-in offer multi-course lunch and brunch dishes for just $25 per person. Restaurants will also offer dinner menus at $40 and $55 per person, providing a variety of price points for individuals and families. Optional cocktail or wine pairings can be ordered à la carte or as part of a set menu.

Comfortable drinking and dining

In addition to the special menus, some restaurants also offer options that include cocktail or wine pairings. Sample the fine wines at 1789 Restaurant, Lyle's, The Park at 14th, Sequoia, and Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse to elevate your dining experience.

Lyle's Restaurant & Bar is nestled in a corner of the art deco-inspired Lyle hotel in Washington. It is a perfect neighborhood restaurant and bar serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, along with gently crafted cocktails. This casual yet refined restaurant aims to bring the community together, making it a cozy spot for group dining or intimate dates in the heart of Dupont Circle.

The Park at 14th

This versatile restaurant and lounge overlooks the historic Franklin Square, offering delicious contemporary American flavors in a warm and vibrant setting. Dinner service begins at 5 pm on Thursdays and Fridays. From menu planning to decor, from flowers to entertainment, from transportation to music... this place will turn your event into a cherished memory.

Enjoy Michelin-starred flavors

Take advantage of the special menus at Cranes and Bresca to indulge in mouthwatering Michelin-starred cuisine. The Michelin Guide also includes Bib Gourmand award winners, known as affordable favorites. These include Washington D.C. iconic chef José Andrés's China Chilcano, Jaleo, and Oyamel, as well as Ottoman Taverna, Unconventional Diner, and Dauphine's.

Cranes Spanish Kaiseki

At Chef Pepe Moncayo's restaurant and lounge Cranes, explore the intersection of Spanish and Japanese cuisine. Chef Pepe Moncayo's modern dishes highlight the similarities he discovered between Japanese and Spanish ingredients, techniques, and culinary perspectives. From cooking styles to ingredient and flavor combinations, his Spanish Kaiseki is a natural fusion of culture and cuisine.

Under the guidance of world-renowned chef José Andrés, Jaleo offers an impressive array of traditional Spanish small plates—tapas, delicious paella, top-notch sangria, and a selection of Spanish wines and sherries in a festive, casual atmosphere. Since 1993, Jaleo has been located in the Penn Quarter of Washington D.C.; the original Jaleo restaurant helped transform that area into today's city center. Jaleo means revelry, joy, and commotion in Spanish, and the restaurant's stylish furniture and artworks are created by Spain's finest contemporary designers.

Start your brunch

The Washington D.C. dining scene wouldn't be complete without everyone's favorite weekend meal. During Restaurant Week, you can enjoy $25 brunch menus at select restaurants. Brasserie Liberté, L'Ardente, Officina, and Supra offer European-style brunches to elevate your standard brunch experience, while GATSBY, Succotash, and The Grill provide more elevated American options.

Brasserie Liberté

A modern French restaurant with an American twist located in the heart of Georgetown. The menu reflects the comfort food of both cuisines, and the ambiance is cozy and relaxed.

L'Ardente

This is L'Ardente, the latest venture from the award-winning team behind Unconventional Diner. This restaurant embodies the glorious contrasts of Italy itself: sophisticated yet simple; glamorous yet rustic; indulgent yet restrained. Most importantly, it is a must-visit destination in Washington now, a Mediterranean balm in the heart of the capital.

Take your taste buds around the world during Restaurant Week. Enjoy Spanish tapas at Boqueria, creative Mexican dishes at Mi Vida, and Peruvian classics at Pisco y Nazca. Experience the feel of Havana at Cuba Libre, or the sidewalk of Belgium at Brasserie Beck. Filomena Ristorante, La Collina, and RPM Italian serve Italian cuisine; Zaytinya and Ambar offer Mediterranean flavors; and Nama Ko provides Japanese-style food.

Boqueria

The wine list features both Rioja wines and selections from the Canary Islands. Popular cocktails include the Shishito Pepper Margarita, a range of Sangrías, and a seasonal rotating menu. Best-loved dishes include: Pan con Tomate: a Catalan classic of grilled stirato bread rubbed with tomato, garlic, and olive oil; Pulpo a la Plancha: grilled octopus with fennel, bacon, and Picual olive oil mashed potatoes; Paella de Mariscos: Bomba rice, monkfish, snapper, squid, shrimp, clams, mussels, saffron, and Spanish chorizo. Boqueria has become a place for friends, family, and colleagues to share Spanish tapas and cuisine.

Mi Vida District Wharf

KNEAD Hospitality + Design founders Jason Berry and Michael Reginbogin, together with renowned chef Roberto Santibañez (chef/owner of the famous Fonda restaurant in New York City), opened Mi Vida at the District Wharf in Washington D.C. Santibañez, a Mexico City native and creator of one of the most respected Mexican cuisines in the United States, draws menu inspiration from street food and traditional Mexican home cooking, presented in a modern, elevated form. Guests can enjoy classic dishes like Carne Asada and Tacos de Carnitas, foie gras with Churros, and caviar Gorditas. Hand-pressed guacamoles come in unique flavors including blue cheese, grapes, and almonds. In addition to signature cocktails and margaritas, Mi Vida offers a wide selection of Tequilas and Mezcals.

This 11,000-square-foot waterfront restaurant features floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of the Potomac River. Mi Vida's design blends the industrial aesthetic of the wharf with contemporary and historic Mexican decor. The restaurant can accommodate approximately 350 guests, offering multiple private dining rooms as well as waterfront patio seating with fire pits and shaded, temperature-controlled pergolas.
