This travelogue was written by Sister Xi in September 2017 when she was invited by the Sanhe City Tourism Bureau to visit Sanhe. There are a total of three articles, taking everyone on a journey to enjoy the beautiful autumn scenery of Sanhe.
Before the travelogue~

To be honest, accustomed to the fast-paced life in Beijing, Sister Xi and her husband always want to take BeiBei out to play as soon as the holidays come, escaping the hustle and bustle, the scorching sun, and the irritability. That's why the 'Puran Ecological Park,' which promotes a slow life, is really suitable for us. September is the perfect time for autumn harvest. The picking garden is full of harvest scenes—not only beautiful landscapes but also fresh fruits to enjoy. The rich colors of Puran Ecological Park make one feel as if stepping into a fairy-tale world. Here, fragrant grass meets the sky, water ripples and fish leap, and the fishermen on the shore move unhurriedly, leisurely enjoying the autumn fragrance. Puran Ecological Park is over 50 kilometers from Beijing and less than 30 kilometers from Yanjiao. Coming all the way from the Jingping Expressway, it is adjacent to the Beijing suburb of Pinggu District. Driving forward into the tranquil mountains of Sanhe City, returning to nature makes life leisurely and relaxed.
As soon as we parked the car, we caught the faint fragrance of lotus flowers. Little BeiBei also ran joyfully into Puran Ecological Park. Among the green lotus leaves, the graceful lotus flowers stood like lightly veiled dancing maidens smiling in the breeze, their fragrance refreshing and soothing.
Taking advantage of the crisp autumn weather, riding a tandem bike around the park for a leisurely sightseeing tour is probably the most delightful thing to do.
There is also an ecological health lake here. You can bring a fishing rod to fish, or do nothing at all—just empty your mind, meditate, and sit quietly through the afternoon.
The afternoon sun was just right, and the little one picked a big apple to eat. Seeing Da BeiBei gnawing at the apple with all his might, the young ladies around gently laughed at him—it was so amusing and adorable. Actually, he rarely eats fruit at home. Maybe after walking outdoors for a long time, he got thirsty, and even ate half of such a big apple—I was really surprised.
The young lady pulled us to play on the swing, full of enthusiasm. The little one didn't look at the camera, a bit shy.
In the ecological park, there are picking gardens everywhere: strawberries, apples, pears, and even dragon fruit. We picked a lot and put them in the bike, eating as we walked.
There were also ponies, deer, and lambs grazing freely—an autumn scene full of charm, so poetic.
If you think that's all, you'd be completely wrong! The rural zoo inside is also a classic! BeiBei, curious about the outside world, was always so excited to see any little animal. He followed the young lady around all afternoon. When she fed the deer, he imitated her and kept asking questions, extremely cute.
Finally, here's the transportation route:
For self-driving friends, just use the map, it's fine. If by bus, take bus 930 from Langjiayuan directly to Sanhe Bus Station, then transfer to bus 51 to reach Puran Ecological Park.
