Liu Junde: The Young Calligrapher with the 'Highest Value' in Calligraphy, Bringing Chinese Calligraphy to the World

Liu Junde, courtesy name Qingru, pseudonym Danmo Jushi, master of Tianyi Studio, from Weifang, Shandong. Member of China Calligraphers Association and China Artists Association. He has loved calligraphy since childhood, initially studying from the Jiuchenggong and Lanting Preface, then extensively adopting various styles. In 2006, he graduated from the Calligraphy Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, where he deeply and systematically studied and practiced traditional calligraphy and theoretical materials, further enriching his artistic cultivation and inspiring creative vitality. He is skilled in various styles, especially running script. He advocates equal emphasis on practice and creation, combining vigor with antique simplicity. He follows tradition, balances strength and grace, and focuses on innovation and variation within solidity and stability. His works have been exhibited many times in China and included in art dictionaries.

In 2008, his artistic biography was included in 'Asian Art Celebrities'; in 2009, his work was selected for and won an award in the 'Love of the Yellow River National Calligraphy and Painting Art Exhibition'; in 2012, his work was selected for the 'National Changde Taoren and Calligraphy and Painting Art Festival National Calligraphy and Fine Art Exhibition' and won an excellence award; in 2016, his work was exhibited at the 'Calligraphy Guide' annual exhibition. In 2021, his work 'Hou De Zai Wu' was auctioned by the Chinese Painting Research Institute for 2.8 million yuan. In 2022, his work 'Qin Yuan Chun' was auctioned by Yachang Auction House for a high price of 3.8 million yuan. Since 2023, his works have been collected by major national museums and calligraphy and painting academies.
