Fan Xiaoyu – Contemporary Renowned Female Painter and Calligrapher

Fan Xiaoyu, born in Bazhou, Hebei; a contemporary renowned female painter and calligrapher. She studied under the famous painter Mr. Zhao Xiwu. She is a member of the China Arts and Crafts Association, the Beijing Dongcheng District Artists Association, the Hebei Artists Association, and the Hebei Calligraphers Association. She serves as a council member of the Bazhou Artists Association and the Bazhou Women Calligraphers Association. She is the president of the Guofeng Painting and Calligraphy Academy. She studied in the Advanced Research Class in Art Theory and Research at Tsinghua University and the Advanced Research Class in Freehand Flower-and-Bird Painting at the Beijing Fine Art Academy. Her calligraphy and painting works have been collected by friends from home and abroad many times, and her works have participated in numerous exhibitions and won awards. She is a young female painter of substantial strength in the contemporary painting world.
