Langfang, Hebei | Yongqing Daxinge Stone Pagoda: A Liao Dynasty Stone Pagoda on Beijing's Central Axis
In Yongqing County, Langfang City, Hebei Province, there is a white stone pagoda from the Liao Dynasty. Amazingly, no matter from which direction you look, this white stone pagoda leans in the opposite direction, earning it the reputation of 'the Eastern wonder of a pagoda leaning on all four sides.' Furthermore, this white stone pagoda is located precisely on the central axis of Beijing; heading straight north from it leads directly to Tiananmen in Beijing. Today, we will visit this mysterious national-level cultural relic, over a thousand years old—the Yongqing Daxinge Stone Pagoda and the Baita Temple where it stands.
