One-Day Trip to Wudang Mountain | Stay at the Most Romantic Hotel in Shiyan
Actually, my friend and I decided to visit Wudang Mountain on a whim. We had been planning a big trip, but I really wanted to go hiking. Counting our budget down to the last penny, we squeezed out some funds for Wudang Mountain. Of course, for accommodation, we wanted something romantic and artistic yet cost-effective. After searching online for a long time, we came across the Shiyan Love Apartment Art Hotel. The photos looked warm and inviting, and the reviews were quite good. It was also convenient for shopping and getting around, so we booked it!
From the hotel to Wudang Mountain, it took about 45 minutes by taxi. We arrived at the Wudang Mountain Visitor Center at the foot of the mountain at 8:30 a.m. and took the scenic area bus to Nanyan. Along the way, we breathed in the fresh air, but climbing Wudang Mountain was really tough—the steps were large, high, and steep.
At the fork leading to the Golden Summit, we chose the Ming Dynasty Ancient Path. Climbing the back mountain path nearly wore me out—it was all "life-taking narrow paths," with steps as high as half my calf. When we finally reached the Golden Summit, the legendary Golden Summit from high school physics, where lightning tempers the temple, sat peacefully, solemnly, magnificently, and resplendently atop the mountain.
Sunlight sprinkled on the temple roof, dazzling and brilliant, making all the effort and sweat feel worth it! On the way down, we took the cable car and descended quickly. Though we were tired all day, it was a truly worthwhile trip!
The hotel was only about five kilometers from Shiyan High-Speed Rail Station, and it took us less than 20 minutes by taxi to get there. The hotel was located on a pedestrian street, making it very convenient for shopping and eating.
As soon as we entered the Shiyan Love Apartment Art Hotel, we felt the design was very eye-catching, warm, and stylish. Every corner of the lobby seemed like a perfect Instagram-worthy spot. We chose the luxury e-sports twin room, and the gaming experience was top-notch!
Although the hotel room wasn't very large, it was cozy, and the amenities were very clean, which gave us peace of mind! Even though the hotel was in the city center, the soundproofing was decent.
Moreover, the hotel offered free laundry service. After our trip to Wudang Mountain, we were worried about our dirty clothes. When we asked the front desk, the young lady said the hotel could provide laundry service, so we didn't have to worry about damp clothes later! The hotel staff were all very polite, warm, and considerate. When we checked in and out, they proactively poured tea for us to quench our thirst, making us feel at home.
