With the arrival of early winter, the colorful foliage plants on Wudang Mountain begin to change color. 'Terraces and towers shimmer with golden and silver qi; forests and peaks circle like a painted mirror.' The mountains dyed in layers of color and the magnificent Taoist temples complement each other, creating picturesque scenery everywhere. This autumn, seek the Tao on Wudang and embark on a celestial autumn journey!

Golden Hall: Located at the summit of Tianzhu Peak, the highest peak of Wudang Mountain, it was built by order of Emperor Zhu Di of the Ming Dynasty. It is the symbol of Wudang Mountain and a mark of the peak of Wudang Taoism under the patronage of the Ming imperial family. The Golden Hall adopts the highest-level architectural regulation of the time—the double-eaved hip-and-gable roof, the same level as the Hall of Supreme Harmony in the Forbidden City in Beijing. Standing in front of the Golden Hall, you can have a panoramic view of Wudang Mountain.

Prince Slope Scenic Area: Includes attractions such as Huilong Temple, Mo Zhen Well, Laojun Hall, and Baxian Temple. Although this scenic area has a long route, most sights are closely along the mountain road, making transportation very convenient. The ancient building complex of Prince Slope is carefully designed according to the story of Zhenwu's cultivation. Legend has it that this is where the prince of the Pure Land Kingdom practiced Taoism. Under the guidance of the Purple Mist Primordial Lord, the prince bid farewell to his parents and came alone to Wudang Mountain to cultivate. After 42 years, he finally achieved success and ascended to immortality. He was posthumously granted the title Tai Xuan and later named Zhenwu as the Yuansheng Renwei Xuantian Supreme Emperor, historically known as Emperor Zhenwu.

Zixiao Palace (Purple Cloud Palace): There are two actual sites. One is a Taoist temple in Huai'an. According to the 'Record of Rebuilding Zixiao Palace' written by Jin Xian, a successful candidate in the imperial examinations during the Ming Dynasty, in 1481, the Huai'an Zixiao Palace was initially built in the Jin Dynasty and flourished in the Tang and Song dynasties. Due to war, it was reduced to ruins by the time of liberation. In the early 1980s, the Huai'an County Government built the largest bus station in northern Jiangsu on this site. The other is the Zixiao Palace in Hubei, which was listed as the second batch of national key cultural relics protection units by the State Council on February 24, 1982.

Nanyan Palace: A national key cultural relics protection unit, it is a famous Taoist temple located on the South Cliff of Wudang Mountain in Danjiangkou City, Hubei Province. Currently, only the stone hall built in the Yuan Dynasty, the Southern Heavenly Gate built in the Ming Dynasty, stele pavilions, and the Liangyi Hall remain. At the original site of the Yuanjun Hall, there is a statue of the Jade Emperor, wearing a tall crown and splendid clothes, with a lifelike posture. Outside the palace, to the north of the cliff, there is the Tiger's Mouth; to the south, on the peaks, there are historical sites such as the Dressing Table and the Ascension Platform.

Wudang Mountain Tai Chi Lake is part of the Danjiangkou Reservoir, located within the Wudang Mountain Tourism Economic Special Zone. With the implementation of the national South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Route Project, the rising water level of the reservoir will create a magnificent landscape of mountains and lakes.

Danjiangkou Dam Scenic Area is a national water conservancy scenic area, a great place for water education and landscape tourism. The scenic area consists of the majestic Danjiangkou Water Control Project and beautiful landscapes and cultural attractions. It is divided into water engineering sightseeing zone, water-friendly leisure and fitness zone, water science popularization exhibition zone, water source ecological experience zone, and tourist vacation service zone. Attractions include the Danjiangkou Dam, Danjiangkou Engineering Exhibition Hall, Rest Garden, Ginkgo Valley, and Cherry and Crabapple Dancing.
