During the May Day mini-break, with alternating sunny and rainy weather, the popularity of Taiji Lake scenic area rose to a reception peak. According to statistics, the scenic area's boat services made over 300 trips during the entire holiday.
During the May Day period, Taiji Lake's visitor reception volume continued to rise, with multiple measures taken to cope with the peak. On the first day of the May Day mini-break, the weather was fine, and the scenic area's reception numbers started high. During the holiday, the scenic area advanced the ticket sales time to 8:00 AM to ensure visitors could enter the park early and guide them to visit at staggered times.
To maintain order, the local government and relevant departments provided strong assistance with joint prevention and control; at the periphery of the scenic area, checkpoints were set up to provide consultation services, and traffic flow and visitor numbers along the route were assessed with timely control and guidance; within the scenic area, all staff and tourism volunteers provided consultation and guidance services; multiple measures were taken to ensure a response to the visitor peak.
During the May Day mini-break, the Taiji Lake scenic area visitor center launched ground electric shuttle transfer operations, effectively improving the scenic area's transportation capacity, breaking the traffic bottleneck for visitors heading to the scenic area, ensuring visitor safety and smooth transfers, and providing a better visiting experience.
