① Wear Hanfu to the scenic area and receive a free water park mini-project ticket
To commemorate Qu Yuan and promote our traditional customs and culture, any young ladies or gentlemen who wear Hanfu to the scenic area during the Dragon Boat Festival event will receive a free ticket for one non-powered mini project at Taiji Lake Water Park. With more than a dozen water park activities, come and unlock them for free!

② Kayak dragon boat race
Sit in a small kayak and experience the look and feel of a mini dragon boat.
During the Dragon Boat Festival event, a 100-meter straight-line sprint race will be held daily at 3:30 PM at the Taiji Lake water sports pier. Bring your friends for a water dragon boat race to get off to a good start during the festival. This thrilling dragon boat race is great for team building and fun experiences!
All participants will receive a gift for taking part. The top three will get extra special gifts:
First place: One ticket for the non-powered parent-child park;
Second place: One small incense burner;
Third place: One small safe gourd
To participate, just purchase a ticket for a non-powered kayak before the race. Both adults and children can join!
③ Apply cinnabar for safety
During Dragon Boat Festival, cinnabar is applied to children's foreheads, symbolizing good health and safety, to ward off evil and protect children.
Realgar wine is smeared on children's cheeks, ears, and nose, or the character '王' (king) is written on their forehead to resemble a tiger and intimidate evil spirits!
④ Pray at Taiji Lake for exam success
During the Dragon Boat Festival, Taiji Lake Scenic Area launches a prayer activity with safety bands. Visitors to Taiji Lake will have the opportunity to receive a safety band at the visitor center and pray together for students.
