Here, the landscape is beautiful and the people are simple. The village is surrounded by lush tea gardens, and elegant houses are built by the water. This is Longjing Village in Baofeng Town, Zhushan County.

Longjing Village is shaped like a long treasure bag, swallowing the sun and moon, storing wind and gathering energy. The “mouth of the bag” faces Nüwa Mountain, the highest peak in the area, nearly a kilometer high, with layered cliffs. Legend has it that this is where Nüwa molded humans from clay, and when she did so, she used water from the village’s ancient well. Hence the name Longjing Village. As for the dragon in the well, it was a salt dragon, which was later injured and flew away…

Beside the ancient well, a Chinese wingnut tree has quietly accompanied it for 500 years, watching people come and go, with red silk ribbons inscribed with blessings and hopes, recording the beautiful wishes and expectations of passersby.

Below the ancient well of Longjing Village, there is also a never-drying spring, one of the eight ancient sights of Zhushan, “Kongyang Divine Pool.” The spring spouts from the ancient dragon’s head, and its volume never changes through the seasons.

Walking on Panlong Square, built around Kongyang Divine Pool, every step reveals a new scene: antique wooden houses, small bridges over flowing water, tourist paths, a teapot sculpture, Lu Yu Pavilion—these make visitors linger and forget to return.

Speaking of Lu Yu Pavilion and the teapot, one cannot avoid Longjing Village’s tea. Good mountains, good water, good tea, good scenery. With a suitable climate, fertile soil, and excellent tea varieties, Longjing has over 2,000 mu of high-quality tea plantations. It is one of the representatives of high-aroma green tea. During peak tea-picking seasons, tourists come in droves for picking and sightseeing.

Following the wide and flat asphalt road forward, the Wufu Longjing Modern Smart Agriculture Industrial Park in Longjing Village comes into view. No one had imagined that this land, once overgrown with weeds, has now transformed into the local hottest viral park.
