Liujiawan Village, Guanyin Town

Is located in the open河谷 region downstream of the Tianhe River.

Here, the love story of the Cowherd and the Weaving Maiden is passed down.

Most farming households live along the river,

nestled against mountains and by the water, adapting to the bends of the river.

The Tianhe River flows from north to south through the entire village.

Legend has it that this is where the Cowherd and the Weaving Maiden

met, fell in love, and began a life of farming and weaving.

Thus, Liujiawan Village is also called Qixi Bay,

an important birthplace of Yunxi’s Qixi (Double Seventh Festival) culture.

"Far, far away the Cowherd Star, bright and fair the Weaving Maiden Star."

The romance of Qixi belongs to "Yunxi Qixi."

On quiet summer nights, the sky is full of stars.

Looking up at the night sky, you will see a silver-white band of stars,

as if a long river is flowing in the sky.

This is what people call the "Tianhe" (Milky Way).

Not only during Qixi but also on festivals and holidays,

there are many folk activities here, full of bustle and excitement.

Walking on the small country paths,

I feel a special charm.

Whether watching the sunrise and sunset or listening to dogs barking and roosters crowing,

the longed-for pastoral "wild" life begins instantly.
