Early Summer Breeze, Fruits Are Ripe!
Among all elements of summer, the juicy fruits are the soul of this season. Blueberries, peaches, loquats... just listing them already makes your mouth water. The early summer breeze blows gently, bringing the scent of peaches from Xijiadian Town in Danjiangkou. In June, Xijiadian Town is filled with rows of peach trees bearing abundant fruits. With the wind, the peach fragrance spreads everywhere. Green peach trees come into view, and as far as the eye can see, tempting "rubies" sway among the peach leaves in the breeze. The peaches show their blushing little faces. Pick one and take a crisp bite; the sweet peach juice instantly stimulates every taste bud. Wow~ that's the taste of summer. Bring your kids along and let the children who usually stay in the city get close to nature and experience a different kind of joy.
The blueberries in Zhuzhuang Village, Zhangwan District are already ripe, emitting a sweet and mysterious fragrance. Choose a sunny day to go and taste these "blue elves". Enter the blueberry base of over 170 mu in Zhuzhuang Village, Zhangwan District, and rows of neat blueberry bushes come into view. Clusters of plump blueberries hang on the branches, blue with a hint of purple, black and shiny, emitting an enticing luster under the sunlight, making you drool. After eating your fill in the orchard, you can also pick a basket to take home and share the joy of this summer bounty with people around you.
You can also take a stroll along the ancient streets of Huanglong Town, looking for historical traces of the former "Little Hankou" and experiencing the simple rural customs. "The ancient charm fills the buildings, intoxicating the early summer; the fragrance of loquats spreads for miles." The first fine fruit of early summer, the loquat, has entered its best picking season. Set off to Wangjiaxue Village, Liubei Town, Yunyang District to fully experience this sweetness.
The loquats produced in Wangjiaxue Village are big and sweet, mainly of the excellent "Big Five-Star" variety. Nurtured by the good climate and fertile soil, these five-star loquats have large fruits, thin skin, lots of flesh, small pits, and excellent taste. Bite into one, and the juice spills, filling your mouth with fragrance. This is the wonderful taste of early summer. Right now is the loquat season, and the picking period will last until mid-June. You can also go to the neighboring Longyun Village and Wudang Bùyè Chéng to experience nightlife.
