Hotel Twinkle is the first hotel brand launched by Xingyao Property, positioning itself as an unconventional hotel that subverts traditional notions. Standing proudly by the sparkling Qiantang River, it has drawn attention from across society.

Facing Qiantang New Town across the river, it commands prime views of the city skyline. Drawing on the dynamic creativity of Binjiang, Hotel Twinkle embraces an equally inventive and curious ANTI spirit, breaking through the boundaries of traditional design hotels in both spatial planning and operational philosophy.

Here, the hotel is not just a place to stay but a lifestyle hub for the city’s high-net-worth crowd. By infusing public spaces with creativity and content, Hotel Twinkle hopes that urban adventurers, driven by curiosity, can explore a more diverse range of lifestyles and enjoy a richer stay, making it an unconventional, high-end boutique lifestyle hotel.

The hotel's distinctive operational spaces consist of five main areas: METOO Mitao Restaurant, MILL Bar, TWINKLE GALLERY, TWINKLE SPACE meeting rooms, and TWINKLE VIEW Terrace. This open integration of formats and spaces expands the traditional hotel functions, creating a vibrant melting pot of trending lifestyles.

Some call it an exquisitely crafted art boutique hotel, others a hotel laboratory with its own artistic manifesto. It was jointly designed by designers who understand the traits of the new generation best—those deeply rooted in Binjiang, devoted to Binjiang, and always moving forward with Binjiang.

1. Ground Floor Arrival Hall

Passing through 'Lan's Dojo'—a public space infused with the artistic inspiration of Japanese karesansui 'Wabi-sabi'—you arrive at the soaring ten-meter-high lobby.

A giant water-drop installation descends from the ceiling; with a 'ding-dong' and the rippling waves below, my personal journey of discovery begins.

Arriving at the sky lobby, the open front desk doubles as an island bar. Beyond check-in, you can chat with friends here, sit by the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows and enjoy the cityscape, or order a signature drink to soak in Hangzhou’s unique charm.

To the right of the lobby is the hotel’s METOO Mitao Restaurant, a favorite gathering spot for artists, designers, and creative youth.

This is the first time in 12 years that Mitao has taken to the skies. It offers all-day dining to meet guests' needs, from local breakfast specialties to refined business lunches with fine coffee, and exquisite Western-style dinners.

4. MILL Bar

The immersive whisky commune, MILL Bar, is the eighth MILL in Hangzhou, featuring China’s first TABLE BAR and creating a concept of community-building bar.

Boasting the most comprehensive and most design-forward cocktail menu among MILL bars in Hangzhou, the mixologists use the world’s most advanced techniques to open up a world of joy, novelty, and adventure for urban explorers.

Pickled Mustard Martini, Banana Funk, Yogurt Fantasia… MILL’s menu still comes as a pleasant surprise, and every flavor of cocktail is worth trying.

This is the headquarters for MILL beverage creation, and here you can taste the newest cocktail series, entirely different from other MILL branches.

5. Work Lounge and Vinyl Records

Next to the island bar is a work lounge, offering a comfortable and modern co-working space for independent workers or business travelers. At night, it transforms into a social venue.

The shelves by the Work Lounge display vinyl records. If you’ve booked one of Hotel Twinkle’s vinyl-themed rooms, you can pick 1–3 records at check-in; the room comes with an MPK turntable, ready to immerse you in a melodic stay.

Next to the bar is the hotel’s gallery. This space breaks away from conventional flat scenes, presented as a terraced, inclusive, and open area. No longer narrowly defined, its function is left to the users’ imagination, creating more possibilities for encounter. The hotel’s opening ceremony—more like a gathering of friends—was successfully held right here.

Step out from the gallery to the hotel’s 23rd-floor sky terrace, where you can feel the evening breeze from Qiantang River and gaze across at the city plazas on the opposite bank. This space is also perfect for fashion shows or as a trendsetting landmark.

8. Seven Distinctive Room Types

Hotel Twinkle features 152 themed guest rooms.

The rooms are divided into Guest Rooms and TWINKLE HOUSE apartments, located on floors 25–32. There are seven distinctive room types, including river-view rooms with front-line vistas, suites with oversized bathtubs where you can soak while gazing at the glittering skyline, and immersive music-themed MPK vinyl rooms—each one stunning.

The room furnishings adopt a futuristic Italian style, emphasizing vibrant colors and spirited forms with impeccable craftsmanship and texture. The use of curves creates a relaxed and intimate living experience.

Urban adventurers can not only appreciate the hotel’s carefully curated refinement in these elegantly appointed rooms, but also embark on cultural explorations through art and vinyl in every room—finding personal stories in a painting or a record.

Making cross-border integration part of its DNA, Hotel Twinkle seems to have mastered the art of running a lifestyle aesthetics brand, sprinting ahead on a pioneering path that defies standardization. Through collaboration with Energy Gallery, Hotel Twinkle has established an 'In-Hotel Gallery' art platform. Offline, urban adventurers can encounter works by the most promising contemporary artists up close in their rooms—each room a mini art museum. Online, the hotel presents a virtual art gallery where guests can add works that resonate with them to their wish list.

01 Oudbird Motorcycle Limited-Edition Themed Suite. Hotel Twinkle’s first crossover collaboration with the avant-garde motorcycle brand Oudbird Motorcycle combines a co-branded motorcycle-themed suite and a global limited-edition motorcycle exhibition to create yet another unique cultural landscape above the city.

The 'Oud' in Oudbird alludes to 'odd bird', meaning extraordinary and unconventional, synonymous with breaking the status quo and challenging mediocrity. It targets a group of 'idealists': like the Beat Generation, they worship freedom and pursue spontaneous artistic creation. So they hit the road, take on various jobs, and do everything they can to open their senses and experience the world through their bodies. A new worldview is gradually taking shape, which was later absorbed and popularized by hippies.

Hotel Twinkle and Oudbird Motorcycle—one an unconventional hotel shaping the city’s unique cultural landscape, the other a creative brand independently experimenting with machine-made vehicles—share a common vision of exploring the commercial frontiers of culture and creativity, using independent aesthetics to create a style that defines an era. Together, they have crafted the 'Time Chaser' Oudbird Motorcycle limited-themed suite, soaring 23 stories above the city, bringing a scene and experience that seems daringly radical yet deeply romantic to the urban space.

Hotel Twinkle has upgraded and renewed Room 19, specially equipped with the hottest 'Indian Red' vintage motorcycle, the 'Time Chaser TC1919', paying homage to the 100th anniversary of the 1910 Indian 'Scout' original classic collection. It creates a brand-new living scene for urban adventurers to experience.

Room 19 at Hotel Twinkle, an Executive Panoramic Suite, is the first to sell out and holds the record for the longest full-occupancy streak. It boasts a stunning 270-degree panoramic view, taking in the Qiantang River and the glittering Binjiang cityscape.

02 MPK Vinyl Theme Rooms: one per floor, only eight in total. If you are lucky enough to book an MPK vinyl theme room, open your senses fully and let your body experience the beautiful world created by the warm, vintage melodies of vinyl and the mechanical texture of Oudbird motorcycles.

From September 7 to October 8, Hotel Twinkle will display two out-of-print Oudbird motorcycles—the 1935 and 1939 models—in public areas such as the sky lobby and terrace. You can admire the intricate mechanical design up close and play with these giant retro mechanical toys.

The 1935 model in particular is a limited-edition collector’s piece for enthusiasts of internal combustion engines, mechanical worship, and vintage café racers. Less than six months after its launch, it was fully acquired by global luxury boutique drivepro, entering stores at MIXC nationwide, Hong Kong’s Pacific Place and Central’s Landmark, and was displayed alongside the premium Italian luggage brand FPM. Now, only a handful of display pieces remain, and it is officially out of print.

Downstairs, TWINKLE Lane houses Hangzhou’s top trending IPs: the immersive art space Twist, the avant-garde live venue Xixi, plus the always-booked Japanese buffet Yuelongyin, OF|Sangu—frequented by influencers like Wang Sicong—and Wales for fitness enthusiasts.
