A couple of days ago, I visited Fenghuang Paradise in Fenghuang Village, Hangzhou. It's truly a new family-friendly destination in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region! Currently in its soft opening phase, it officially opens on January 1st, New Year's Day.

Fenghuang Paradise is nestled at the foot of Fenghuang Mountain in Fenghuang Village, Xiaoshan, Hangzhou, at No. 39 Huanshan West Road. Surrounded by mountains and water, the air is incredibly fresh. Inside, it's a gathering place for all those trendy attractions you see online! There are over 30 rides and activities—pastoral roller coasters, the Phoenix Train, rainbow slides, go-karts, and so much more. It caters perfectly to family fun, leisurely outings, and even outdoor picnic gatherings!

Admission is just 20 yuan, and the rides inside are charged separately, so you can pick and choose based on your interests. Prices are only around 10, 20, or 30 yuan—very affordable.

We arrived at the park just before noon, so we hopped onto the Fenghuang Station Train for lunch. The interior is decorated with an artsy vibe, and the menu includes burgers, rice combos, and more—all at great prices.

This was my absolute favorite spot in the entire park, no contest! Getting up close and personal with the animals at the Fenghuang Paradise farm will absolutely melt your heart... These little creatures are just overwhelmingly cute!

The Adorable Pet Village is home to alpacas, black and white rabbits, peacocks, deer, lambs, mini pigs, chinchillas, white foxes, and more—like a mini zoo. The best part? You can feed them and interact with them directly!

Look at this alpaca—so goofy and adorable that kids can't help but hug it!

Right next to the pet village, you can also ride a horse. It was my first time, and I was a bit nervous at first, but after a gentle loop, I wasn't scared at all—it was so much fun!

Don't underestimate that roller coaster just because it's meant for kids. Even us grown-ups found it surprisingly thrilling—really enjoyable!

This one's fun too, with adult and kid versions of go-karts, both single and double karts. Dads can take their little ones for a true taste of speed and excitement!

This is another must-try viral ride! Even the faint-hearted have nothing to worry about—it spins as you slide down, and it's super entertaining!

Over here are some outdoor team-building challenges, where you face unknown journeys and overcome one obstacle after another.

Other attractions include bumper cars, trampolines, an arcade bus, spinning seahorses... Kids can happily spend an entire day here!

There are also wood-fired stoves where you can cook your own meals. Just book in advance, and a family—or several families together—can enjoy the cozy experience of cooking over a real fire. So heartwarming!

Near the main entrance, you'll find the "Ancient City Stone Culture Park," which displays stone artifacts from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. You can even walk along the old city walls built with bricks from the Ming and Qing periods for a high vantage point. And don't forget to find your family surname and snap a picture!

On the New Year's holiday, be sure to bring your little ones to Fenghuang Paradise for an unforgettable time!️

Fenghuang Village itself is packed with other sights worth visiting, including the Peasant Movement Memorial Hall, Fenghuang Mountain, Dongyue Temple, the Village History Museum, and more.

The Yaqian Peasant Movement Memorial Hall is a museum dedicated to the peasant movement, blending modern display technology with a rich collection of historical materials to inspire respect, remembrance, and continuation of history.

This area, formerly known as "Cigu Mountain," is an offshoot of Hangwu Mountain and got its name because its shape resembles a crouching phoenix. Though not high in altitude, its pristine forest resources and mild climate have enticed even the delicate sika deer to make their home here. Stepping into the hills, with green ridges stretching into the distance and deer gracefully running, feels like walking into a harmonious ecological painting.

Dongyue Temple not only embodies Southern Song culture but also carries the heritage of the canal culture. It has been destroyed and rebuilt many times. The current temple, with its striking red exterior, exudes a profound sense of Zen as you walk through it.

The old Qing Dynasty house where the Fenghuang Village History Museum is located sits facing north at No. 12-1 Nongxie Road, right by the Guanhe River. Covering over 400 square meters, the two-story building even has a back garden on the north side.

Entering the museum, the thousand-year history and transformation of Fenghuang Village unfold before your eyes. On the walls between the floors, you'll see photos and family mottos of more than 600 households from the village. The museum tells the story of Fenghuang Village's evolution and innovation, from the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom period of the Song Dynasty in 978 AD all the way to the present day.
