There are plenty of photo-op spots in Hangzhou. This time I picked the First World Hotel in Hangzhou's Songcheng, and it's truly ideal for a family trip. There are tons of activities every day, so kids can have an absolute blast.

The entire First World Hotel is decorated in a Southeast Asian style, making you feel like you've stepped into Chiang Mai.

Over twenty shows and activities take place each day, and they can surprise you when you least expect it.

Not only that, the hotel's buffet is also delicious, and the décor makes you feel like you're in a tropical rainforest.

Every dish in the buffet here is packed with flavor. All kinds of fruits, salmon, steak, sashimi — you name it, all unlimited.

From the restaurant windows, you can see a whole forest. There's a very large indoor space.

Many buffet items are freshly made, ensuring freshness, and they refill quickly. There's fresh salmon, sea bream, and other sashimi.

Besides sashimi, there are plenty of grilled items: steak, squid, and jumbo prawns are all very popular. Unlike some buffets in the city where you have to queue, here supply easily outpaces demand, enough to satisfy your appetite.

A huge array of seafood for you to choose from — really superb value. The post-meal fruit and desserts are also very varied; besides fruit, there's ice cream. You can even take a scoop to go and eat it while walking.

Various dance performances and surprise magic tricks keep the little ones delighted. Here, it's not just about good food but also great fun and sights.

The daily 10:15 a.m. small animal meet-and-greet is truly a paradise for kids. There are all sorts of bunnies, parrots, and even peacocks that you can interact with up close.

What's more, the peacocks here are free-range, so you might encounter them unexpectedly — these gorgeous peacocks give a delightful surprise.

There's a pond called 'Hunshui Moyu' (Fishing in Muddy Waters), where you can catch fish with your bare hands — really fun.

At 2:00 p.m. every day, the Tank Alliance battle lets kids join in the game themselves. In the children's playground, every child has a ball.

Besides all the activities within the First World Hotel, Yunman Hot Springs is even more highly recommended.

Before soaking, you can draw a mystery box at the entrance, containing a variety of little gifts.

In the open-air setting, you can choose from different herbal baths. The unique architectural style restores the original essence of hot spring culture, with four areas—Yulin Qipao Quan (Rainforest Bubble Spring), Yuantang Buluo (Original Broth Tribe), Xiangju Huashe (Xiangju Flower House), and Tianzhu Caotang (Tianzhu Grass Hall)—offering 33 pools.

Past the curtain, you'll find the changing room. Once you've changed, you can head to the hot springs. Yunman Hot Springs has natural, magical water rich in trace elements like radon, strontium, barium, and fluorine, offering notable therapeutic benefits: health maintenance, nerve relaxation, beauty, and weight loss.

Unlike other hot springs, there is a cluster here called Cold Spring, which is the coolest of all. After soaking, you can wash away a day's fatigue — super comfortable.

The long corridor and the decoration are predominantly Japanese-style. Bathing in the outdoor hot springs is truly delightful. Besides the outdoor ones, there are also indoor pools, each with different effects, so you can pick the one you like.

There are also plenty of shows at the hot springs: Maya Style Show, Flying Fairy, Crazy Clown — all of which set the crowd cheering.

From 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. every day, non-stop flash mob shows add an extra dose of fun to bathing.

After bathing, you can take a break in the lounge area, where there are sofas and a TV. You can also enjoy some refreshing drinks.

What impressed me most was the Flying Fairy show, with costumes evoking Dunhuang, making me feel as if I had entered a heavenly realm — so romantic~

The magic-themed rooms at the First World Hotel are truly a hit with kids, with all sorts of creative designs.

The bunk beds are both beds, and you can slide down from the top — super design-savvy. Kids will definitely be overjoyed.

What's even more worth mentioning is that the room doors don't have numbers. Instead, you need to align the pattern on your key card with the matching pattern on the door to open it, which can help train children's observation skills.

All kinds of children's amenities are provided: toothbrushes, little stools, seat cushions — all thoughtfully prepared.

You don't even need to leave Hangzhou to have an amazing family trip. First World Hotel Hangzhou — let's go!
