Although I was a bit afraid of heights and those thrilling challenge activities, being dragged along by my friends, I still felt the rush of excitement and anticipation. Departing from Hangzhou, we drove along winding mountain roads and lush tea plantations. The view was filled with refreshing greenery and a serene seclusion far from the world. About two hours later, we arrived at our destination — Tonglu's Shengxianli Zhuxi Adventure Park.

Located in Hecun Township, Tonglu, Shengxianli Zhuxi Adventure Park features bamboo forests, fields, and streams as its setting, and outdoor sports as its core. It is a rare place for leisure, sports, and vacation. It offers the Zhuxi Adventure Tower (with 89 different challenge activities of varying difficulty, including a screaming slide, a giant swing, a low-altitude bungee jump, and extreme rock climbing), an internet-famous mini train, bamboo forest ATV rides, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, live CS, an overwater obstacle course, water amusements, water challenge courses, a family pool, a super water slide, and a 10,000-square-meter starry-sky lawn for barbecues, camping, and bonfires — perfect for a vacation.

If you are coming to Shengxianli Zhuxi Adventure Park for a getaway, I highly recommend staying a night at the 'Zai Shui Yifang' guesthouse, a container-themed accommodation by the river. This popular riverside guesthouse is assembled from many shipping containers, and the 39 rainbow-colored containers are painted in different hues. Inside, they are designed into various themed rooms. Each container is a room — super cool!

Bamboo, embroidery, tile carving... Push open any guesthouse door, and you'll discover a unique theme. Different decorating styles offer different lodging experiences!

The floor-to-ceiling glass windows bring the beautiful scenery right before your eyes, letting you fully immerse yourself in the views of the tea plantations, endlessly fascinated.

The natural wood furnishings are simple and rustic, while the oversized windows provide a bright, fresh, and cozy atmosphere. Locally sourced accessories blend with the wild charms of Tonglu, adding an extra touch of rustic luxury.

Starting from the containers, my girlfriends and I strolled toward Shengxianli Zhuxi Adventure Park. The first thing that caught our eye was the internet-famous Shouting Spring. This is a fun spot that both kids and adults can join in. Nearby visitors just need to scream or sing to stir up the fountain in the pool. The louder you shout, the higher the fountain sprays!

Heading up into the hills, the path is lined with lush greenery.

Embraced by the landscape of mountains, waters, and fields, accompanied by the singing of birds and chirping of insects, the cool mountain breeze and the crisp bird calls completely refresh the mind, dissolving all noise and stress in serene contentment.

At Shengxianli Zhuxi Adventure Park, you can choose from two swings of different lengths. Mechanically boosted to a horizontal position and then released, the moment you're pushed out is when you truly experience uncontrollable 'thrills' and a 'Tarzan' perspective. Drifting along the picturesque water, layered hills unfold, and the river lazily ripples. Lush forests line the banks year-round, and beneath your feet lies the emerald-green, crystal-clear water. Boating on the blue waves feels like floating through a painting.

Quietly sailing amidst the charming scenery of clear waters and green mountains, with the clear streams, majestic banks, and expansive floodplains connecting to patches of green, a sense of comfort naturally arises.

In over 100 mu (about 6.7 hectares) of natural bamboo forest, 35 all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) race freely through a maze track. What a cool and exciting way to play!

The word 'camping' always weaves a dream of carefree wandering. Greet the sunrise from your tent, dance and sing in the open field, get together with a few good friends, talk about life's ideals, the trivialities of daily life, and whether tonight's stars are especially bright...

And at Shengxianli Zhuxi Adventure Park, there is such a camping site that satisfies all your fantasies of poetry and distant places.

From a distance, the tents look like colorful flowers of the season, cheerfully blooming among the mountains and waters, allowing city-dwellers to hear nature's truest voice and release their tired hearts in the forest.

Music, delicious food, tents, performances; listen to the frogs and insects, watch the sunrise and the sea of clouds.

Gather around a small table or sit on the ground, accompanying family and children or a few friends, chatting and talking. All worldly worries drift away on the evening breeze.

The final stop is the Adventure Tower of Zhuxi Adventure Park, where you can experience a series of high-altitude rope climbing activities!

This is a large-scale outdoor rope climbing project built with a crystal-structured tower frame, standing 18.87 meters tall. The first floor is a children's play area (with 25 trails), where children under 1.39 meters can play under parental supervision; the second to fourth floors are adult challenge levels (with 60 trails), though you can freely choose based on your own fitness level.

The thing you absolutely cannot miss is the internet-famous slide! Sliding all the way down from the fourth floor, when gravity acceleration meets a swirling storm, your 'little heart' will race along with your screams all the way to the bottom.

Worth mentioning, there is also a low-altitude bungee jump. The desire to 'bungee jump at least once in your life' can be fulfilled here, with full safety harnesses ensuring a safe landing.

If you are brave enough, you can also try 'the ballet on the rock face' — extreme rock climbing. Control your breathing, scale the heights! With your back to the mountain forests and bamboo groves, just thinking about it fills you with a sense of ease and freedom.

In the large CS-themed arena, change into a combat uniform and helmet, then split into teams and enter the intense live CS battlefield. With elements like crate graffiti, oil drums, and tires integrated into various scenes, it feels like stepping onto a Hollywood film set for a gunfight game.

Charge into battle with your comrades, facing attacks from all sides amid a hail of bullets, or stage a dramatic comeback, a rebirth from the ashes. In short, strike a cool pose, act fast! Spot the enemy, fire immediately, and crush them!

1. About Tonglu

Tonglu is under the jurisdiction of Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, situated on the middle reaches of the Qiantang River, with the Fuchun River running diagonally through the county. With a long history and rich culture, it is praised as 'a land of outstanding natural beauty and elegant civilization.' Fan Zhongyan, a renowned official of the Northern Song Dynasty, was so impressed by the region's unique mountains and waters that he extolled it as 'Elegant Tonglu.'

Since ancient times, Tonglu has been famous for its 'green mountains, clear waters, long history, and tranquil environment,' known as having 'extraordinary landscapes, unparalleled anywhere in the world.' The city is shaded by green trees, clean and fresh, while the countryside features harmonious white-walled, black-tiled houses. Birds can be heard everywhere, and the scent of flowers is ever-present — a truly beautiful city of mountains and waters.

2. About Transportation

The most convenient way to get to Tonglu is by car, which can take you directly to the scenic spot. It takes about three and a half hours from Shanghai, and about one and a half hours from Hangzhou.

(1) For visitors from Shanghai, Jiangsu, Ningbo, Shaoxing, and Taizhou: Changshen Expressway (exit at Tonglu on the Hangxinjing section) → 05 Provincial Road → 16 Provincial Road → arrive at the scenic area.

(2) For visitors from Wenzhou, Quzhou, Jiangxi, and Lishui: Changshen Expressway → exit at Fuchun River on the Hangxinjing section, heading toward Fenshui → 320 National Road → 16 Provincial Road → scenic area.

(3) For visitors from Huangshan: Hanghui Expressway (exit at Yuqian, heading toward Fenshui) → Fenshui (toward Tonglu) → 16 Provincial Road → scenic area.

3. About Accommodation

There are many places to stay in Tonglu. For a two-day trip, if you have enough time, it's recommended to stay one night, try some local farmhouse dishes, and enjoy the leisurely rural life. I recommend the 'Zai Shui Yifang' guesthouse in the Shengxianli scenic area, as staying near the scenic area makes travel more convenient.
