After our visit to Hongcun, the innkeeper drove the four of us in his private Cadillac to the entrance of the Huangshan Scenic Area, and we paid a total of 180 yuan for the ride. We appreciated the innkeeper's warm hospitality.

When visiting Huangshan, remember that the best seasons are spring and autumn. Our trip happened to fall at the transition from late winter to early spring, a time when the old is withered and the new has not yet emerged—a season of scarcity. The scenery at this time left me disappointed.
