Mount Huangshan, Anhui - Authentic Huizhou-style Ancient Architecture Guesthouse - Mysterious and Elegant Environment

“After returning from the Five Great Mountains, one no longer cares for other mountains; after returning from Mount Huangshan, one no longer cares for the Five Great Mountains.” As one of China’s top ten scenic and historic spots, Mount Huangshan is hailed as the most extraordinary mountain under heaven. With immense passion, my family and I boarded the train heading for Mount Huangshan.

After a full day of travel, we finally set foot in the Gucu Ancient Village at the foot of Mount Huangshan. We chose Meixi Inn, located at 50 meters west of National Highway 205 in the Huangshan District, in Jiulong New Village, Tangkou Town.

The village is a well-known local original ecological folk tourism resort at the foot of the scenic area. It features authentic Huizhou-style ancient architecture, full of exquisite retro charm. White walls and black tiles are classic elements of Huizhou architecture, mysterious and classical.

Painters and photography enthusiasts often come here for inspiration. Groups of art students can be seen everywhere in the village and by the lake, wielding brushes and ink, painting the ancient village and beautiful scenery on their easels. This place is undoubtedly a sketching paradise for art students to paint landscape scenes.

The overall style of the inn is elegant and rustic. The exterior walls are painted with delicate classical landscape paintings, fully embodying the retro style. The first floor is a spacious hall with Chinese-style furniture and decorations, perfectly matching the village’s original ecological style.

The spacious dining room can accommodate up to 60 people at the same time, and private rooms are available. A good environment can enhance the dining experience. This is not just a guesthouse; it's about spiritual quality.

The interior decoration of the guest rooms is a classic modern simple style, full of warmth and family feeling. All basic facilities are complete.

Warm yellow spotlights illuminate the bedroom, filling it with the comfort of home. In such an environment, the body and mind completely relax. Take a comfortable hot shower, sleep well on the soft large bed, and the fatigue of a whole day's journey disappears.

The original ecological natural environment and the ancient village form a unique scenery. The special Huizhou-style private home-cooked dishes are worth tasting; every dish is exquisite. When you come to a new place, it's not just about seeing different scenery and experiencing different folk customs; unique local cuisine is also an important part of the experience.
