How Beautiful Is the Summer Graduation Trip to Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong, Grasslands, and Zhagana?

This route mainly combines scenic spots in Aba Prefecture and Gannan region, mostly traversing grasslands, accompanied by wildflowers, yaks, green grass, blue sky, white clouds, mountains, and rivers. The scenery is beautiful and the views are wide open along the way!

I. Introduction to Scenic Spots Along the Route:

1. Huanglong: Huanglong is renowned for its large-scale, ingeniously structured, and richly colored surface travertine landscapes, known worldwide for its rare karst landforms, truly a paradise on earth.

2. Songpan Ancient Town: Inside Songpan, small bridges and flowing waters create a unique landscape. A swift and clear river flows from the eastern end of Songpan Ancient Town through the ring road westward, then after passing through Central Street, turns south and flows out of the ancient town from the left side of the South Gate. Songpan Ancient Town is grand and majestic; the length, height, thickness, and exquisite stone carvings of its city walls are unparalleled in ethnic regions.

3. Jiuzhaigou: 'No need to see water after returning from Jiuzhaigou' is a true interpretation of Jiuzhaigou's scenery. Springs, waterfalls, rivers, and beaches, along with 108 lakes, form colorful jade basins.

4. Waqie Pagoda Forest: Waqie Pagoda Forest means 'big tent' in Tibetan. Here lies the Waqie Pagoda Forest commemorating the 10th Panchen Lama's site for chanting scriptures and praying for blessings. Around the pagoda forest is a continuous expanse of prayer flags, very spectacular.

5. First Bend of the Yellow River: Located in the heart of the grassland, the winding river divides numerous river islands, where waterfowl gather and fishing boats cross, praised by Chinese and foreign scientists as 'a solemn phantom in the universe.'

6. Zoige Grassland: Zoige Grassland is like a magnificent green gem embedded on the northwestern border of Sichuan, known as the 'Oasis of the Northwestern Sichuan Plateau,' and is one of the three major wetlands in China.

7. Zhagana: Zhagana has steep and majestic mountains, shrouded in clouds and mist, like a fairyland. The Tibetan villages combine and complement various production activities such as nomadic herding, farming, hunting, and woodcutting, forming a model of harmony between humans and nature.

8. The First Bridge of the Yellow River: The Yellow River flows from west to east with twists and turns into the Gannan grassland, blocked by the Xiqing Mountains (the remaining range of the Anyemaqen Mountains), makes a 180° turn, and flows back westward, drawing a nearly 10,000 km² grassland here, known as the famous First Bend of the Yellow River. 'Maqu' thus got its name.

9. Awancang Grassland: The Awancang Scenic Area features the vast Awancang Grassland, Gongserkamu Road, and Awancang Monastery. Under the azure sky, endless green grasslands, white sheep, black yaks dot the landscape leisurely; streams meander and marshes spread glittering silver under the sunlight, stunningly beautiful.

10. Lianbao Yeze: 'Lianbao Yeze' means 'dignified jade peak' in Chinese, commonly called Stone Castle or Stone Mountain. Lianbao Yeze is a majestic world of unique peaks and strange rocks and an art sanctuary. The mountains are steep and grand, full of masculine vigor; the mountain bodies are vast and continuous; lakes are scattered and silver waterfalls hang high.
