Appreciating Spring Snow on Mount Jiuhua

Mountain peaches blush with rosy clouds, green willows bathe in the breeze.

It's the prime of the spring season,

but Mount Jiuhua is graced with a romantic "peach blossom snow."

Below the mountain, we revel in a riot of spring colors;

upon reaching the summit, it transforms into a winter scene of swirling snow.

Flurrying and dancing gracefully,

snowflakes twirl and scatter,

clothing the slopes and trees in a sacred gown.

I stroll along the ancient path,

listening to the bell echoes in the secluded valley.

The mountains and rivers are so serene;

I listen to the rhyme of the pure white snow,

walking all the way with a song in my heart.
