Its peak, Jiuhua Mountain, together with Shanxi's Wutai Mountain, Zhejiang's Putuo Mountain, and Sichuan's Emei Mountain, is known as one of the four sacred Buddhist mountains in China. In 2009, Jiuhua Mountain was rated as a National Geopark. On April 17, 2019, UNESCO announced approval of Jiuhua Mountain as a Global Geopark.

Sisters' Shishang Pusu Homestay is located about 30 meters to the right of the intersection on the east side of Yonghua Road (Kecun Old Street) in the Jiuhua Mountain Scenic Area. It has convenient transportation and an excellent location; guests' vehicles can be driven directly to the door. Opened in 2022, it has three floors: the first floor is a 120-square-meter public space for leisure and dining, while the second and third floors are guest rooms. The hostess and host are beautiful, kind, warm, and hospitable. They resolve issues promptly and can provide advice on food, accommodation, travel, shopping, and entertainment for Jiuhua Mountain trips to every guest who stays here. At the entrance, the pair of doors are nearly a century old, installed in their original style, giving a unique character. The exterior walls are decorated with wooden paneling made from old planks, creating a strong three-dimensional effect. At the front door, there is an old stone-framed hand-pumped well for visitors to take photos. The old stone platform at the entrance is a naturally formed fossil from thousands of years ago; when water is poured over the stone platform, the fossilized insect imprints become clearly visible, as if time has returned to millions of years after volcanic activity created these insect fossils.

The lobby and outdoor decor mainly feature old wood, old timbers, old stone seats, and old stone piers. The design concept highlights simplicity and rusticity, with an unadorned, original style that is pure and substantial. The lobby tea table and bar are built from old elm door panels, emphasizing a simple but not frivolous feel, with a strong sense of depth and solidity. There is a particularly Yunnan-like ambiance—ancient and quaint—and the combination of wooden structure with whole-house smart modern technology surprisingly has no sense of incongruity.

Every antique item in the store is either passed down from ancestors or collected from Huizhou; each piece is full of memories and warmth, telling small but beautiful stories.
