Lavender Instagram Hotspot
Last May, the Dazi District lavender base began trial planting, and by August, it successfully bloomed. From May to October is peak lavender season. Currently, 600 mu of lavender fields in Xincang Village are open to the public free of charge. At the base, visitors weave through the sea of flowers, recording videos and taking photos, eager to capture the most beautiful moments or share them with loved ones. Under the bright sun, the lavender looks even more vivid.

Dadong Village
Once a poor village on the outskirts of Lhasa, Dadong Village has now developed wonderfully and is listed among China's Traditional Villages. With its blend of ancient temples, woods, fields, streams, lakes, and manor houses, Dadong Village offers a pure, rustic lifestyle hidden from the urban bustle. Visiting in summer reveals Dadong at its best: emerald mountains, cheerful streams, and wildflowers carpeting the slopes. It's the perfect destination for company team-building, countryside trips, and 'Linka' picnics. In your free time, gather family or friends, bring a barbecue, plenty of food, and drinks, and set up a picnic on the grassy riverbanks. Or rent a Tibetan-style tent to lounge and chat; or invite a couple of friends for a swim and a soak in the hot springs. Life here is simply delightful.

Travel Tips:
1. Tibet travel mostly involves high-altitude areas with big day-night temperature swings, especially after dark when temperatures can hover near freezing. Bring warm clothing, such as thick coats, hats, gloves, and scarves.
2. A week before departure, start taking altitude sickness preventive medicine like Rhodiola or Gaoyuan An. If serious altitude sickness occurs during the trip, seek medical help immediately without delay. Illness doesn't heal easily on the plateau, so it's best to move to lower altitudes as soon as possible.
3. When first arriving, rest more, drink plenty of water, eat fruits, avoid smoking and alcohol, and eat moderately — don't overindulge to protect your stomach. Avoid running or vigorous exercise.
