"In spring chill, she bathed in Huaqing Pool, the warm spring water sleek and silken on her skin" — hot spring bathing has a long history. Soaking in hot springs relaxes muscles and joints, dilates blood vessels, promotes blood circulation, speeds up metabolism, and relieves fatigue. As a country rich in hot springs, China boasts countless thermal waters. Among them, four representative springs, with mineral-rich water and pleasant temperatures, are widely acclaimed destinations for bathing.

Tangshan Hot Spring in Nanjing is located in Tangshan Subdistrict, Jiangning District. Known as the "Thousand-Year Sacred Spring," it has a history of over 1,500 years. Daily water output reaches 5,000 tons, with a constant water temperature of 60–65°C. It contains over 30 types of minerals and trace elements, and is remarkably effective for skin diseases, arthritis, rheumatism, high blood pressure, and various chronic ailments.

Nanjing Tangshan Hot Spring Tourist Resort is also a world-renowned spa area, the only hot spring in China to receive dual international certification for water quality from Europe and Japan, earning praise as "a thousand-year sacred spring, a wellness paradise."

Covering a planned area of 29.74 square kilometers, the resort integrates monuments, springs, caves, lakes, and temples, blending cultural landscapes with natural scenery into a national-level tourist destination.

Come to Tangshan, stroll through the ancient city, feel the leisurely passage of time among flowers and trees, and let a ray of afternoon sunshine add a touch of warmth to your year ahead.

Yangbajing Hot Spring is located on the high plateau of Tibet, covering an area of over 7,000 square meters. It has the highest number of hot springs in the country.

Yangbajing boasts grand-scale geysers and intermittent spouts, hot springs, thermal springs, boiling springs, and hot water lakes, with temperatures maintained at around 47°C. Massive steam clouds rise from the lake surface above the geothermal field, creating a heavenly scene. Especially in winter, jumping into the hot spring while gazing at the towering snowy mountains and drifting snowflakes is romantic and blissful. If you're lucky enough to witness a hot water well erupt, you can see boiling water shooting straight into the sky from the spring's mouth, a truly magnificent spectacle.

Xiaotangshan Hot Spring is located in Dongxiaotangshan Town, Changping District, Beijing. Xiaotangshan's geothermal springs have a long and illustrious history. Since the Yuan Dynasty, they were designated as imperial gardens, reserved exclusively for feudal emperors. In the fifth year of Kangxi's reign, the "Tangquan Temporary Palace" was built here. In the late Qing Dynasty, Empress Dowager Cixi bathed in the Tangquan Temporary Palace multiple times. The spring water is pale yellow and clear, with a sweet and pleasant taste. It is hailed as the top among China's ten great hot springs and is suitable for all ages.
