Some things, if you don't do them now, you might never do them; some places, if you don't go now, you might never go.

This is a saying I've always found very true. Unfortunately, although I think it's right, I haven't been to many places... I admit I'm someone who lacks action... Time slips away quietly amidst constant daydreaming..

I'm a person who loves mountains and waters, so Yunnan is a place I've wanted to visit very, very much. And the most attractive part of it is you, Lugu Lake. When I was little, I loved reading travel books; for a while, I had to flip through a few pages every night before bed. The beauty of Lugu Lake was etched into my mind back then. This time, I must fulfill this childhood dream.

After getting off the cable car, it was time to rely on my own two legs. Standing at the viewing platform, the scenery was truly magnificent, giving a feeling of having the earth under my feet.

The temperature on the mountain was very low, and the wind was strong; without a down jacket, you just couldn't bear it. I claim to not fear the cold, but I was shivering too... However, facing the beautiful scenery before me, the cold didn't matter anymore. Start shooting~~~ What does this photo want to say?

Soon after this photo, Xiao Hei was so cold she couldn't take it anymore, unable to stay outside any longer, let alone go any higher. She said she'd wait for me indoors. Alright then, I continued climbing with a sister who was traveling with us. This sister is from an ethnic minority, from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, with great stamina. She kept leading me and encouraging me to run upward. Thank you, Sister Xiaoman~ What does this photo want to say?…

What does this photo want to say?… Under Sister Xiaoman's guidance, I truly exhausted all my effort and climbed to an altitude of 4680 meters. The highest peak of Yulong Snow Mountain is over five thousand meters, but tourists can only go up to 4680. Any higher, I guess I couldn't have made it either... But after all, I successfully reached the highest point accessible, and it's worth commemorating.

What does this photo want to say? After about a 20-minute drive, we arrived at Blue Moon Valley. The guide told us we could choose to take an electric cart or walk to explore Blue Moon Valley, and he would wait for us at the end. Without a doubt, we definitely chose to walk; besides, the electric cart costs money.

After arriving at Blue Moon Valley, Xiao Hei was obviously much better, her complexion no longer pale, officially declaring a full recovery. A little face reveal~ haha~ What does this photo want to say?…

This photo wants to say... The time was around one in the afternoon, the sun was almost directly overhead, the light was harsh... And you could feel the UV rays were extremely strong. Xiao Hei cried and begged that after returning home, we shouldn't call her Da Hei... Alright... What does this photo want to say?…

What would it feel like to live here? Leave some space for yourself and slowly imagine.

Around three in the afternoon, we started heading back to the city. The guide said he could take us to the nearby Shuhe Ancient Town, but we'd have to find our own way back to the inn. Many people had said Shuhe is a place well worth visiting, so we decided to check it out. It's indeed much quieter than Lijiang Ancient City, a great place for accommodation!

In the evening, we ate the famous small pot rice in Shuhe Ancient Town. It was truly aromatic, the rice cooked so fragrantly with many seasonings, all cooked together, super fragrant and delicious, so great, so tasty. The steam pot chicken soup was wonderful, made with local free-range chicken, full of original flavor. The braised beef brisket was excellent, generous portion, the brisket braised to perfection, very appetizing with rice. Also, water shield, a local vegetable, very good!

What does this photo want to say? Slowly, I walked to the foot of Lion Mountain and met this old lady. I don't know if she was selling things or waiting for her family to return home; she just stood at the doorway, gazing into the distance. And what I did was pick up my camera, press the shutter, and record this moment. What?…

What does this photo want to say? Get in the car, continue forward. Sitting and sitting, I became numb. Not just my head, but my butt too... Lugu Lake was still nowhere in sight, and at this moment, I really had to admire the road workers, you guys are just amazing... Numb in the head, I don't know how much time passed, the driver stopped and turned to tell us that looking down here is the ** River, and there's the mountain road with eighteen bends or who knows how many bends (I was dizzy and can't remember). We could get off to take photos. Before coming, I hadn't imagined we'd pass by the ** River, and I was suddenly thrilled. Getting off the car to look, I was simply mesmerized... I feel like I didn't capture the color of the ** River well enough. It's like a winding jadeite embedded in this three-dimensional land. It's so tranquil that from a distance you can hardly tell if it's flowing. The driver said we would follow this twisting mountain road ahead to the opposite mountain of the ** River... In front of us, there are countless more mountains to cross. What?…

What does this photo want to say? After a sleep, I felt a bit better, but still a bit dizzy and weak. But I really couldn't waste time like this, so I decided to go out for a walk. By then the sun had set, the temperature dropped a lot, put on my down jacket, and set off. The inn is right by the lake; just go through the back door and you're at the lakeside. This was my first intimate encounter with her. Haha~ Behind the inn there's a small flower garden planted with my favorite gesang flowers, big love~ What does this photo want to say?…

What does this photo want to say? After about twenty minutes, we arrived at Liwubi Island. Actually, this is a very small island, with a temple at its highest point, and behind the island is Crocodile Island. On the island, I saw two ladies sitting in another boat, haha, let me sneak a photo from afar~ What does this photo want to say?…

This photo... I really envy the people living here. Maybe they aren't wealthy, maybe their lives lack some **, but living here, what ** do you need? Self-sufficient, at peace with the world, isn't that the most natural life?

The turquoise blue lake water is like silk, soft and smooth! What does this photo want to say?…

This photo... Actually... I really want to throw Xiao Hei into the water and have her lie on the lake surface for me to take a few shots, haha~ But I guess she'd beat me to death.. What does this photo want to say?…

What does this photo want to say? This should be the busiest area around Lugu Lake, but if I had to choose again, I'd still choose to stay in Daluoshui. I'm a man who likes tranquility~ What does this photo want to say?…

This photo wants to say... Erhai before sunset, so tranquil it seems to make people forget the passage of time. The sea breeze gently blows, stirring not just the corners of clothes but also the soul. We who live in cities are troubled by too much noise and carry too much pressure. At this moment, it's as if people are reborn, all the dust and distractions of the city thoroughly washed away. Let's feel the calmness here once more, just like this, quietly, quietly, lightly... What does this photo want to say?…

This isn't a technical post; you won't find so-called travel guides here, only our memories. I hope everyone can continue to happily walk on the road and discover the beauty of **~
