Youhong Chicken Feather Shop: The Most Authentic Bashu Folk Cuisine!
When I was traveling in Yan'an with friends, one night I suddenly craved Bashu folk cuisine. Near the hotel, there was a Bashu folk cuisine restaurant called Youhong Chicken Feather Shop. The decor was nice and there were many people inside. We thought the food must be good, so we decided to eat there. As soon as the food entered my mouth, the first feeling was deliciousness—this was the taste of authentic Bashu folk cuisine! The chili peppers in the dishes were pure Qixing peppers from the Bazhong area and authentic Erjingtiao peppers from Xichong. All seasonings were the most authentic Bashu region seasonings, very nice. Our group of six ordered seven dishes. The portions were generous, and among the seven dishes we ordered, we felt every one was delicious. Each plate was a rare delicacy, especially the Spicy Chicken—it was numbing, spicy, fresh, and aromatic, crispy and refreshing, leaving an endless aftertaste. The dishes also catered to all ages. Whether in flavor or ingredients, they appealed to both refined and popular tastes, loved by the elderly and children alike. The service in the restaurant was also good. As soon as our cups were empty of tea, staff immediately came to refill them. If we needed something from the staff, they were very quick, unlike some restaurants where you wait five or six minutes just for a spoon. The service attitude at Youhong Chicken Feather Shop was also my favorite type—the staff were very proactive. Later, I specifically looked up Youhong Chicken Feather Shop online. They focus on Bashu folk cuisine, but they are not just about delicious and distinctive dishes—they are inheritors of the intangible cultural heritage of Bashu folk cuisine! Bashu folk cuisine, as a culinary tradition spanning three thousand years, was already recorded in the *Huayang Guo Zhi*. The ancient Shu people 'loved flavors and enjoyed spiciness,' paying attention to both nutrition and taste. As a child of the Bashu region, I only found out about the Youhong Chicken Feather Shop brand of Bashu folk cuisine now, and their dishes are so delicious—I regret not knowing earlier. So today, I want to recommend this keeper of the Bashu folk cuisine tradition to everyone! Now, Youhong Chicken Feather Shop has signed over 200 franchise stores, with 13 officially opened. So you don't necessarily have to be in Sichuan to eat authentic Bashu folk cuisine. Youhong Chicken Feather Shop is truly worth a visit. It brings together Bashu folk cuisine under one roof, satisfying gatherings of friends and family, banquets, and formal meals. Importantly, the cost is not high!
