Driving to the Extraordinary: Holy Land Yan'an
For those wandering far from home, do you ever have a moment when you especially miss home? Do you especially miss that bright moon in your hometown, the familiar streets, and a group of close buddies speaking in that effortlessly fluent local dialect? During college, I could stay home for two months during winter and summer breaks, so I didn't really feel that homesick. But ever since I started working, I only get to go back home for the Chinese New Year. I've been busy most of the time, and that has made me feel increasingly unfamiliar with my hometown. I can no longer speak the Northern Shaanxi dialect as authentically as before. Before I had a car, going home required long planning and a lot of packing. But after getting a car, it became incredibly convenient. Moreover, the sense of safety that my Volvo S60 gives me has boosted my confidence on the road. The Volvo's power is also quite ample, making the entire journey with navigation effortless. It feels very relaxed, which has made me go home more often. I can even set out in the morning and return in the evening without any issue. It's the Volvo that has changed my life, shortened the distance between me and my hometown. Thank you, my S60!
