Sichuan 8-Day Tour – Recalling Chengdu, the Beautiful Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong
After a long search for a travel destination, I finally chose Sichuan. Whenever Sichuan is mentioned, I think of spicy food. I never expected the scenery to be so beautiful too.
Jiuzhaigou is very far — it took about ten hours of driving in total. Huanglong is at a high altitude, making it a bit difficult to breathe.
I visited Kuanzhai Alley, Jinli, the Nine-Arch Bridge, and that little bar from the song in Chengdu.
Jiuzhaigou is truly beautiful — a real gift from nature.
Reaching the very top of Huanglong was stunning, with such breathtaking scenery.
Let's look at the pictures from these 8 days:
Haha, how can you eat rabbit?
Sichuan's face-changing opera.
After Kuanzhai Alley, we went to Jinli. It was packed with people, selling all kinds of local specialties, crafts, snacks, etc.
This mahjong shop was so distinctive.
I had this kind of pancake before in Yunnan — it was delicious.
I didn't go to the panda base in Chengdu city; this was a panda base on the way to Jiuzhaigou.
The water wasn't very abundant. I imagine when the water flow is strong, it must be spectacular.
The filming location of Journey to the West — it felt quite special.
It was snowing in April, quite cold.
After taking the cable car, we still had to climb up — I was exhausted.
The view at the top of Huanglong was really beautiful.
The ethnic minorities were very warm and hospitable.
I bought a wooden comb, and they could even engrave characters on it — really nice.
The beef jerky was quite tasty.
I feel that the photos can't capture the beauty of the bridge; it was really stunning in person.
There was a restaurant on the bridge — it looked very upscale.
This shop's intestine noodle soup was absolutely amazing, so delicious.
And so, the 8-day Sichuan trip came to an end. I don't know if I'll have a chance to come back, but I had a great time and made wonderful memories.
