The Parisian Macao: A Place You'll Want to Visit Again and Again
With dreams of Macau in our hearts, the first stop on our honeymoon was The Parisian Macao – a true paradise combining luxurious accommodation and shopping. I'd read plenty of travel tips saying that Sands China's properties like The Venetian Macao, The Parisian Macao, Conrad Macao on Cotai Strip, Sheraton Grand Macao, and The St. Regis Macao were all fantastic. If only we had more time, I'd have loved to check in at every single one!
The Parisian's architecture is romantic and grand, making you feel as if you're in Paris itself. In particular, the Eiffel Tower replica in front of the hotel looks just like the real one in France.
Stepping into the lobby, I was stunned by its opulent décor, giving me the illusion of a European vacation. I couldn't help but let out an 'OMG!' The replica of the Fountain of Neptune is incredibly true to the original!
Walking past the VIP lounge felt like wandering into a European museum – simply breathtaking.
We wandered around and before we knew it, it was afternoon. At check-in, I went snap-happy—no need to find the perfect angle, every shot was Instagram-worthy.
We booked a Champagne Suite, and since we stayed three consecutive nights, we got a 34% discount. A special shout-out to housekeeping—they were so patient and attentive. The Champagne Suite features a minimalist French style, very spacious, with a foyer, living room, and bedroom.
The view from the window is excellent—you can see the Eiffel Tower right outside!
The suite has a walk-in closet and a huge bathroom with a separate bathtub, double sinks, and a private toilet cubicle. I adored the oversized vanity mirror with built-in beauty lighting—I felt so pretty! Enough talk, let the photos speak for themselves!
In terms of design aesthetics, the room is fresh, simple, yet elegant. The layout is well-defined—close the doors and the living room and bedroom become completely separate. The walk-in closet has its own vanity. The marble bathroom is so Instagrammable, with its white marble exuding luxury. The shower system is impressive, with three spray panels for a 360-degree shower experience. The Morandi color palette is very feminine. Plus, complimentary Evian water and generous toiletries—so lavish!
After unpacking, we couldn't wait to hit the shopping mall and go on a shopping spree. The Shoppes at Parisian replicate the style of the Champs-Élysées, with three main boulevards, each offering a different atmosphere for shoppers!
I highly recommend Antonia—it's my favorite boutique. They stock lots of big-name brands and a wide variety: bags, clothes, shoes, you name it.
The Adidas store was running a promotion: buy three regular-priced shoes or clothing items and get 40% off, or buy two items for 20% off (excluding selected items).
We browsed around and spotted many brand stores. Recognize any of these below? They all seem like trendy streetwear brands—if you're into sports and fashion, check them out!
The Shoppes at Parisian and the Grand Canal Shoppes are interconnected, making it super convenient to explore both.
The Grand Canal Shoppes are on the 2nd and 3rd floors of The Venetian Macao, and are among the largest and best-themed malls in Macau. The design recreates the Italian water city of Venice, with a painted sky ceiling, three canals, European-style buildings, and arched bridges—it's stunning! I recommend taking a gondola ride to soak in the Venetian atmosphere for a unique and fun experience.
The Victoria's Secret store is huge, decorated in pink and very girly. They have a full range of products with plenty of choices. From casual sporty and retro styles to surrealist prints and futuristic animal motifs, the lingerie is gorgeous and caters to every goddess's needs. The buy-one-get-one-free offer was also very tempting.
The Victoria Iside handbag was prominently displayed. They also had the latest 'The Enchanted Forest' collection—the colors were so vibrant in person, and the leather quality was great.
I instantly fell for this shimmering fragrance mist—girls just love sparkly things, hehe. The scent is fresh, the glitter isn't too dense, and it's not greasy. Love, love, love.
But the main focus was the lingerie—so many styles. There was a promotion on: selected bras for MOP 98 (over 90% off!), and some selected items at half price.
I finally found the Fila shoes I'd been eyeing for ages. The design is light and sporty, the material feels premium, and the thick sole is bouncy. My husband and I kept trying on different pairs, and in the end, we bought two pairs at 40% off. Ha ha, such a steal!
I really love these Fila Disruptor chunky sneakers—the classic shape with a street-style twist is super trendy. Plus, they give a bit of a height boost, which I totally need!
The DFS duty-free store was easy to find, and we shopped for over an hour—it was always crowded. Lancôme and Kiehl's had discounts, so I got an eye-care set for myself and skincare sets for my sister and mum. Even with the discounts, the prices were still very decent.
I'd had my eye on the Lancôme Advanced Génifique serum for ages but never splurged. This time, with the promotion, I grabbed two bottles! Ha ha.
To commemorate our honeymoon, we bought two black 'Macau' T-shirts—so cool! The quality is great, soft yet structured, and they make perfect couple tees.
La Chine, a Black Pearl Two-Diamond restaurant, is inside the Eiffel Tower replica. You enter from the hotel's fifth floor and take a lift up to the sixth-floor dining room. The long corridor on the sixth floor, with its wrought-iron and marble details, is a famous photo spot—utterly picturesque. My husband couldn't resist doing a little dance.
I loved the restaurant's décor—elegant and quiet, a delight for both the eyes and ears. One tip: you need to book in advance. If you wait too long, you might have to wait until after dark to eat.
With one Black Pearl set menu, you can sample dishes from five different cuisines. I couldn't name all the dishes on the menu, but the braised goldfish dumpling made a deep impression—both the taste and presentation were captivating.
We dined at La Chine two nights in a row—I wish I could have tried every dish! The orange roast duck was absolutely delicious.
The stone pot lobster rice soup was incredible—so tasty and loaded with ingredients. For girls, one portion could easily serve two, but my husband has a big appetite, so he ate most of it. Hmph!
The white chocolate peach dessert was so pretty I almost didn't want to ruin it. Dining tip: You can get a Sands membership card through the Alipay wallet. The card level depends on your Alipay status—I got a Platinum card, which gave me 20% off!
The Parisian Macao, like the city of Paris itself, has so many facets to fall in love with... For those planning a visit, remember to prepare your travel permit (you can use the self-service gates), an international data SIM (you can buy one via Alipay), and some Macanese Pataca (you can exchange RMB cash at the border).
