Macau? Let's Go! Macau Customs Tips and Light Show Photo Guide

You probably already know that Macau has resumed tourist visas, right? Nationwide relaxation from September 23rd! Starting today, I'll be sharing daily full guides on food, accommodation, and fun, along with popular spots and hidden photo angles. Remember to save them ~

Come on, let me (Pang Jing) guide you step by step on how to eat, drink, and have fun in Macau.

? First, how to get to Macau

You need to take a nucleic acid test before coming (you can search online for testing hospitals in each city).

??? Key point!! The nucleic acid test report is valid for 14 days.

But when you come to Macau, they only recognize a 7-day validity!

The report is usually available within 24 hours.

For example, if you take the test on the 10th,

and get the report on the 11th, the 17th is your deadline for round-trip to Macau.

Let me talk about transportation: Currently, Air Macau is operating!

At the airport, staff will ask you to fill in a form, and then you'll get the Macau Health Code, making it easy to enter!

Don't worry, the airport staff are very helpful and will guide you step by step.

This year, the first day I arrived in Macau

? I heard this year's Macau Light and Shadow Festival is earlier! Since Pang Jing went to Macau, how could I not check it out?

And Pang Jing's flight arrived in the afternoon too!

How could I waste the beautiful evening time?

I looked up the photo spots of various influencers online and studied them.

? Honestly, I prefer the light decorations from the past two years' festivals.

But this year, there are still a few spots worth recommending.

Let me share them with you right away.

? "Time Tunnel" at Tap Seac Square

The "Time Tunnel" was both our favorite and the most challenging spot to photograph.

Mainly because the light changes in the tunnel were so intense, and it rained on the day Pang Jing went.

So sad <( ; ? ; )>

Many times, faces in photos turned out blue.

I suggest you wait for the light show performances (because sometimes the lights turn whiter)

and use burst mode to capture the moment.

Another spot is Nam Van ? (Ya) Mun Lake

?? Unfortunately, we took a taxi there too late! It ended at 10 PM, so we only took a few shots. But it was super dreamy there, full of fairy-tale vibes. Highly recommend it for those with kids.

Hope you like it.

[Macau Light and Shadow Festival 2020]

? Time: September 26 - October 31, 19:00 - 22:00

Now for the main event! Macau Tourism teamLab Art Exhibition, one of the world's top 10 must-see exhibitions.

As you all know, I (Pang Jing) am a bit of an exhibition fanatic! I go to dozens or even hundreds of exhibitions a year, big and small.

But this exhibition is a must-recommend ( ???????????)~?

Macau teamLab SuperNature, an immersive art museum – a dual enjoyment for the eyes and body.

This exhibition is known as one of the "world's top 10 must-see exhibitions."

Previously, you had to queue abroad, sometimes for over 10 hours.

The project is created by the art team teamLab, with works up to 8m high,

and a complex interactive experience space of 5,000 square meters.

Truly one of the world's top 10 must-see exhibitions!

I really suggest you don't rush through it.

Set aside half a day to immerse yourself and waste time there.

Photo tips (what you care about most):

? Wear light-colored, solid-colored clothing for better photos.

? There are few people in Macau now! When I went in the afternoon, it almost felt like a private event.

? There are many photo spots, at least 18.

? Plan to spend at least 3 hours visiting.

? You can bring a camera but cannot use flash or tripods.

? There is a designated children's play area.

? It's a bit like a maze; I felt lost a few times.

Now let's see Pang Jing's results~~

Who says I'm not a fairy? No! I'm a little dinosaur on the run from Disney.

Other useful info (Aren't I a thoughtful fairy?)

Exhibition name: teamLab SuperNature

? Address: Cotai Expo Hall F, The Venetian Macao

Ticket prices: Adult ¥238 mop, Child ¥168 mop

? Note: Closed on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month.

? Opening hours: 10:00 - 22:00

Pang Jing's tip (ˊo????? o????ˋ): Be mindful.

Don't wear a skirt because there are mirrors everywhere, making it easy to accidentally expose yourself.
