Monte Fort is located on Penha Hill near the Ruins of St. Paul's, built in 1616, and is one of Macau's important historical sites. It once served as the core of Macau's defense system, forming a cannon defense network covering the east and west coasts.

The fort is an irregular quadrilateral with bulwarks at the four corners, walls about 9 meters high, capable of mounting over thirty cannons to defend against attacks from all directions. Today, Monte Fort is a tourist attraction with a large green area in front, offering a panoramic view of Macau.

18:15 Depart from Monte Fort, walk to Phoenix Dai Pai Dong, starting the true 'Macau foodie trip.' Distance about 1.4 km, approx. 21 minutes.

Senado Square is the square in front of the Macau Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau building, covering about 3,700 square meters, one of the four major squares in Macau. Surrounding the square are many centuries-old Portuguese-style buildings. The black-and-white wave-patterned pavement and the fountain in the center add a Southern European feel.

On major festivals, Macau often holds events at Senado Square. For example, the Macau Municipal Affairs Bureau holds the 'Macau Lotus Flower Festival' every June. At the opening, 3,000 pots of lotus flowers of over 60 varieties bloom at locations such as Taipa Houses, Senado Square, and Lou Lim Ieoc Garden. If you come in June, you might encounter it.

St. Dominic's Church is located near the Ruins of St. Paul's, with a history of over 400 years. It was originally built with wooden planks, hence also called 'Ban Zhang Miao' (Plank Temple), and later rebuilt in brick and stone after a fire.

The church is richly decorated, and its Baroque-style altar is elegant and exquisite.

08:55 Arrive at Seng Kee Congee, breakfast. The boss is very enthusiastic; from our accent he could tell we're from Shanghai and even spoke a few words of Shanghainese with us, haha, instantly felt much closer.

Seng Kee Congee is one of the food landmarks in the Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro area. Its location is very humble, tucked in a fire lane between two buildings. But business is surprisingly good; tourists from all over the world queue up to eat here every day.

Hong Kong food critic Chua Lam has praised the excellence of this Cantonese congee. A glass cabinet at the stall displays a photo of Chua Lam dining with the boss. Such 'alley stalls' operating in fire escapes are rare in mainland China, so it's undoubtedly one of Macau's most unique food spots.

Congee varieties include century egg and lean pork congee, meatball congee, and boat congee, full of ingredients like pork liver, pork intestines, sliced pork, beef, and fish fillets, very delicious. The congee is piping hot, so enjoy it spoonful by spoonful!

Also, Qiu Qiu bought chicken feet from a nearby shop, equally tasty.

Hac Sa Beach is one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Macau, located on the east side of Coloane Island, historically called 'Tai Wan.' It is a natural beach and a famous natural bathing area in Macau.

The bay is crescent-shaped, the beach over 1 km long, named for its unique black sand.

After getting off, Auntie Ye's carsickness subsides, and she gradually recovers.

11:45 Depart from Hac Sa Beach. Considering Auntie Ye's second bout of carsickness, the Honey Group decides to walk part of the way to Lord Stow's Garden Café. Total distance 2.9 km, about 45 minutes.

Coloane Island is one of the four major regions of Macau, rich in natural scenery such as woods, hills, beaches, and natural seawater baths. It is pleasant and beautiful, with Hac Sa Beach and Cheoc Van being particularly famous. Coloane has many Portuguese-style buildings, relaxing beaches, and beautiful seaside hotels. Coming here allows you to experience the slow pace of Macau.

The road to Lord Stow's Garden Café is actually a hilly path with ups and downs, with few people and great scenery. After accompanying Auntie Ye for about four bus stops, we decide to take the bus.

12:30 On the way to Lord Stow's Café, we first see the Lord Stow's Bakery selling egg tarts and other pastries.

After seeing Lord Stow's Bakery, turn to its right and walk along the blue building.

This blue building is Lord Stow's Garden Café.

12:45 Arrive at Lord Stow's Garden Café, lunch. The sky has turned overcast and is gathering dark clouds. We manage to get into the restaurant just before a heavy downpour.

Lord Stow's Garden Café is a restaurant in the Macau Special Administrative Region, with an average spending of 38 yuan per person. It's suitable for casual dining, a quick bite, a date, family gathering, or friend reunion.

During the meal, a torrential rain falls outside, and soon the ground is flooded. The Honey Group decides to wait until the rain eases before moving on.

14:00 Depart from Lord Stow's Café, walk 160 meters to 26A Rua do Mercado de Coloane stop. The rain has indeed lessened, but the roads are flooded, making walking inconvenient.

The Grand Canal Shoppes is Macau's largest indoor shopping mall, located on the third floor of The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel, covering 968,000 square feet. It features over 350 shops, dozens of eateries, and three canals each 390 feet long. The entire mall is covered by a large canopy that uses computer-controlled lighting effects to simulate dawn, dusk, and sky colors, complemented by themed streets, canals, and a 157-foot Rialto Bridge, creating an elegant and magnificent environment that transports visitors to the streets of old Venice.

Auntie Ye buys chocolate; the price? One word — expensive! Tan Tan, Qiu Qiu, and I, with no desire to buy, enjoy the long-coveted ice cream cones.

17:00 Depart from The Grand Canal Shoppes, walk 1.0 km to Rua do Cunha.

17:30 Arrive at Rua do Cunha. It starts drizzling again on the way; we only briefly pass by the Taipa Houses (Casa de Pasto).

Taipa Island (Portuguese: Ilha da Taipa), also called Tan Tsai, Chicken Neck, Dragon Ring, Dragon Head Ring, is one of the three parts of Macau, China. It lies about 2.5 km south of the Macau Peninsula, facing the Xiaohengqin Island of Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province to the west. Area: 6.33 sq km, population about 104,000.

Taipa Island runs northeast to southwest, with the Tai Tam Hill in the east, the Soi Tam Hill in the west, and flat land in the middle. Tai Tam Hill, at 158.2 meters, is the highest point of Taipa. Taipa is connected to the Macau Peninsula by the Governador Nobre de Carvalho Bridge, Friendship Bridge, and Sai Van Bridge.

Rua do Cunha starts from Largo do Quartel in the northwest and ends at the junction of Rua da Praia do Manduco and Rua de José Regedor in the southeast, 121 meters long, 5 meters wide, named after the 81st Governor of Macau. It is an important street in the old town of Taipa and is famous as a street for souvenirs.

Long Wa Tea House is located at No. 3 Rua de Almirante Sérgio, Macau, opened in the 1960s. It is the only remaining old-style tea house in Macau. All surrounding buildings have been demolished, but this tea house has been preserved by the government due to its cultural significance.

Long Wa Tea House has been operating for over 50 years, still retaining the authentic style of the 1960s, thanks to the efforts of the second-generation owner, Mr. Ho, in preserving the tea house's character. Every corner of the tea house has a story. See that old clock in the center? When Mr. Ho's father first opened the tea house, the family was very poor, and the tea house had no decent furnishings. A friend gave him this clock. Mr. Ho was very touched and placed it in the most prominent position as an expression of gratitude and appreciation. Since 1962, this clock has recorded the thick history of the tea house.

Yes, this is the tea house where Chow Yun-fat met his first love in the Lunar New Year film 'The Man from Macau'! That booth! Memories awakened, right?

Fisherman's Wharf is one of the most popular themed entertainment areas in Macau in recent years, suitable for a whole day of eating, drinking, and playing. The park is open 24 hours, with entertainment facilities generally open 10:00-18:30. Admission is free, but each facility charges separately.

Shuttle buses run between hotels and the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal from 10:00-22:00; sightseeing cars are also available, running every 10-20 minutes from 10:30-18:30, ticket price MOP15.

The Ruins of St. Paul's, officially called the Ruínas da Antiga Catedral de S. Paulo (Portuguese), commonly known as Da San Ba or the Ruins of St. Paul's, is the facade of the former Church of Mater Dei (St. Paul's Church, completed in 1580). The facade has a history of over 350 years, is a landmark of Macau, and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The Ruins of St. Paul's is one of the iconic buildings of Macau and one of the 'Eight Scenic Spots of Macau.' Together with other parts of the Historic Centre of Macau, it was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2005.

Lei Kei Noodle & Congee has been in business for over 70 years. Any taxi driver in Macau knows where it is. It has always focused on traditional handmade bamboo pole noodles with shrimp roe.

Lei Kei's shrimp roe tossed noodles: the noodles are covered with shrimp roe, smooth and elastic, with no alkaline taste. The shrimp roe adds a full flavor, and you can even taste egg aroma.

In Macau, you must try the local water crab congee. Lei Kei's version is not inferior, with a sweet and thick texture that is delightful.

Perhaps away from Macau, you cannot find such thick, sweet, and delicious water crabs, thanks to the brackish water environment where the crabs thrive. Water crabs have thin meat and abundant water, not suitable for steaming, but perfect for congee, where all the essence dissolves into the porridge, making it creamy and crab-flavored.

Jinlu Wanton, also known as 'Beautiful Fate' (Jin Xiu Liang Yuan), is a typical Cantonese rustic dish, popular at festive banquets among locals. The name comes from the colorful ingredients: red, green, golden, orange, symbolizing the union of a man and a woman, enhancing their relationship. It is a representative dish at wedding banquets.

Jinlu Wanton uses fine ingredients: a thin wanton skin wraps a small amount of chilled fresh shrimp filling, folded into multi-angled shapes, then deep-fried until crispy. It is served with a sweet and sour sauce made from diced shrimp, BBQ pork, squid, chicken liver, chopped onion, green and red peppers, etc. Must be eaten hot to enjoy the crispy, tangy flavor. Crispy, sweet and sour, colorful, it's a special crunchy snack.

The pork chop bun is especially famous, with generous fillings, soft bread, and juicy, tender pork chop that is unforgettable.

11:00 Depart from Kam Ma Lun Coffee & Pastry Shop, walk about 370 meters to Choi Heong Yuen Bakery. On the way, it starts raining, and getting heavier. We walk and stop, taking shelter; the rain is really heavy! What should have been a few minutes' walk takes over ten minutes.

11:15 Arrive at Choi Heong Yuen Bakery, shop.

Choi Heong Yuen Bakery originates from a Guangdong old store, open for over 50 years. It is famous for its charcoal-baked almond cookies made entirely by hand. In recent years, the film 'Poker King' was shot in the shop.

It is one of Macau's traditional charcoal almond cookie shops, with quality no less than famous brands like Cho Heung Yuen and Koi Kei, even surpassing them. Its signature products include almond cookies with whole almonds and almond cookies with pork filling, authentic and traditional in taste, attracting many people to buy souvenirs from afar.
