Nowadays, upscale restaurants love to collaborate with famous jewelry or handbag brands. By simply having afternoon tea or dinner, you can receive small gifts and brand discount vouchers, offering great value for money.

Recently, the French-style bistro Ritz Café at The Ritz-Carlton, Macau has once again joined forces with the French jewelry brand Les Néréides, known as the Mediterranean fairy, to launch three seafood platters inspired by the "Out At Sea" jewelry collection.

Our group of seven arrived at the elegant and bright Ritz Café with great anticipation. Since it was still early, we immediately started taking photos around the place and discovered that the latest collection of Les Néréides was also on display for appreciation.

Looking at the menu, my heart was truly tempted. Order just one of the designated seafood platters and you get a free Les Néréides handmade enamel bracelet and a boutique discount voucher. Order two platters and you get two bracelets, and so on. It’s genuinely great value.

The three seafood platters inspired by the "Out At Sea" jewelry series include a fresh French oyster platter.

12 fresh oysters, ranging from Gillardeau to David Herve Spéciale Royale, served with cocktail sauce, Thai chili sauce, and mignonette sauce—fresh, crisp, and delicious.

Iced seafood platter

Includes Boston lobster, Alaskan king crab legs, tiger prawns, half-shell scallops, Canadian black mussels, razor clams, and 4 Fine de Claire oysters from France.

Not everyone enjoys iced seafood. Elderly people, children, or those with sensitive stomachs prefer hot food. To accommodate this, the restaurant also offers a grilled seafood platter, featuring Boston lobster, tiger prawns, cream-baked scallops, bacon and cheese baked oysters, Canadian mussels cooked in white wine, as well as fried calamari rings and puff pastry-baked halibut—very abundant.

In addition to the oysters and seafood platters, we also ordered several newly launched and signature dishes.

Salad must be fresh—crisp vegetables, chewy prawns, squid, and octopus, paired with lemon vinegar dressing—healthy and delicious.

I really enjoy tartares, including salmon and beef tartare. This beef tartare is mixed with capers, mustard cream, pickles, and caviar, served with crispy toast. It has a multi-layered texture and tastes really good.

Seeing such a Chinese dish name on a upscale Western restaurant menu definitely caught my attention. The restaurant said it’s a new attempt to surprise guests. I couldn’t wait to take a bite—it tasted like char siu (barbecue pork) but had the texture of roasted chicken, very unique, paired with the sourness of pickles—sweet and sour, delicious.

Plump spring chicken with morel mushroom sauce.

A classic French home-style dish: beef braised with red wine without a drop of water. The tannins in the wine tenderize the beef and cut the richness, served with mushrooms, onions, bacon, and mashed potatoes—very tasty. If paired with steamed rice, you could finish the whole bowl.

When served, the waiter had already deboned the fish. Every bite was pure fish, perfectly cooked, tender. Accompanied by tomatoes, baked potatoes, and carrots.

Crêpe Suzette flambé

Classic French dessert: crêpes cooked with orange liqueur, full of orange aroma.

Flaming cream cake

A beautiful dessert, not too sweet—ladies will surely love it.

I absolutely loved this: crispy apple tart with cinnamon ice cream—wanted another serving.

Traditional profiteroles with vanilla ice cream and warm chocolate sauce—satisfying.

Promotion period: From now until October 31st.
