Coinciding with the Macao Science Center's 12th anniversary, this year's Green Tech Carnival features Hello Kitty, Little Twin Stars, and Pompompurin as Green Tech Ambassadors! They promote green technology knowledge while being adorable!
As a longtime Sanrio fan, I couldn't wait to take photos upon hearing this news! Cute cartoon figures were everywhere, and I kept snapping pictures!
Special mention goes to the most impressive 5-meter Hello Kitty at the entrance—both grand and cute!
A huge crowd was taking photos!
I heard it lights up at night, as it's one of the performance venues for the Macao Light Festival.
It completely satisfied my girly heart!
In addition, there are also the super popular Pompompurin and Little Twin Stars, with bright colors and amusing designs.
They evoke childhood memories for many; each character is a mark of the era, accompanying and witnessing our growth—truly a wave of nostalgia...
The center also has a treasure hunt stamp activity!
Stamp booklets can be picked up at the entrance.
While visiting the themed exhibitions, you can find stamp stations as shown in the booklet and collect cute stamps!
The booklet also introduces green building elements and green technology knowledge—who wouldn't say it's impressive!
"Internet of Things in Data Science" Exhibition
Location: Exhibition Hall 2
A striking yellow "sign" caught my eye and led me into this hall. Through multimedia and virtual animations, it interacts with visitors, and many spots allow you to scan QR codes to play games.
It introduces each new technology and development in a different way,
helping us better understand the role of IoT in our daily lives.
Ancient Chinese Inventions Experiential Exhibition
Location: Exhibition Hall 6
Five thousand years of Chinese civilization—the wisdom of ancient people amazes the world.
It has also driven great progress globally.
Entering this hall, you can delve into many of ancient China's brilliant innovations.
Here we find the most familiar Four Great Inventions—printing, papermaking, gunpowder, and the compass—as well as the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Suzhou gardens, and the amazing ancient medicine of acupuncture. The 24 solar terms and mortise and tenon joints are still in use today.
Over thousands of years, things have continuously evolved and changed,
but what remains unchanged is the working people's aspiration for a better life.
We need to observe with our eyes and feel with our hearts.
Finally, I recommend watching the dome film "Magic Earth 3D." Lying down to watch, you can fully relax—it's very comfortable.
Compared to regular 3D theaters, the spherical screen offers a greater sense of depth and space.
The film's theme is clear: follow the protagonist to experience Earth's seasons, the cycle of winter to spring and the changing seasons.
The fast speed, alternating seasons, and changing scenery offer a feast for the eyes.
The visual effects are stunning! I give it five stars—well worth watching.
