Coinciding with Macau Science Center's 12th anniversary, this year's Green Technology Carnival invites Hello Kitty, Little Twin Stars, and Pompompurin as Green Technology Ambassadors! They promote green technology knowledge while being adorable!
As a long-time Sanrio fan, I couldn't wait to go take photos as soon as I heard the news! Cute cartoon decorations everywhere made me snap away nonstop!
Special mention: the most impressive 5-meter-tall Hello Kitty at the entrance is both spectacular and cute!
Many people taking photos and checking in!
I heard it lights up at night, being one of the performance venues of the Macau Light Festival.
It really satisfies my girly heart!
Other popular characters like Pompompurin and Little Twin Stars are also there, colorful and playful in design.
They evoke childhood memories for many; each character is a mark of the times, accompanying and witnessing our growth, truly another wave of nostalgia...
There's also a treasure hunt stamp activity inside!
You can get the stamp booklet at the entrance.
While visiting the themed exhibitions, you can find stamp locations like the one in the picture and collect cute stamps!
The booklet also introduces green building elements and green technology knowledge; anyone who sees it has to say it's awesome!
"Internet of Things in Data Science" Exhibition
Location: Exhibition Hall 2
The striking yellow "sign" caught my eye, and I unknowingly walked into this hall. Through multimedia and virtual animations to interact with visitors, there are many spots where you can scan QR codes to play games.
Each new tech knowledge and development is introduced in a different way,
helping to quickly understand the role of IoT in our daily lives.
Ancient Chinese Inventions Exhibition
Location: Exhibition Hall 6
Five thousand years of Chinese civilization, the wisdom of ancient people amazed the world.
It also gave a powerful boost to the world.
Walking into this hall, you can deeply understand the many brilliant achievements of ancient China.
Here we have the most familiar Four Great Inventions - printing, papermaking, gunpowder, compass; the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Suzhou gardens; and the miraculous ancient medicine - acupuncture; the 24 solar terms still used today; mortise and tenon joints, and more.
Over thousands of years, things have evolved and changed,
but what remains unchanged is the working people's yearning for a better life,
which we need to observe with our eyes and feel with our hearts.
Finally, I recommend watching the dome movie "Magic Earth 3D." Lying down to watch, you can fully relax, and it's very comfortable.
Compared to regular cinema 3D halls, the dome screen gives a stronger sense of three-dimensionality and space.
The film's theme is clear: follow the protagonist to experience the earth's seasons, the cycle of winter and spring.
The rushing speed, changing seasons, and shifting scenery allow you to feast your eyes.
The visual effects are stunning! I give it five stars, well worth watching.
