Let's go to the plum grove at Osaka Castle!
● The best season for plum blossom viewing is coming soon~
Plum blossoms signal the approach of spring. At Osaka Castle, the first to bring us news of spring is the plum tree.
They start blooming in January, and reach full bloom in February!
The official website of Osaka Castle Park has also updated this year's bloom status; check it online before you go! Taking the lead, here's a look at last year's full bloom scene?
In the plum grove at Osaka Castle Park, there are about 1,270 plum trees of approximately 100 varieties, including early and late bloomers.
The grove is vast, and at a glance, the blooming plums resemble a sea of flowers—truly a spectacular view!!
White, pink, red... many colors and varieties; looking closely at each flower is fascinating.
The whole grove is filled with the subtle fragrance of plum blossoms... The feeling of spring's arrival is truly elating?
However, it might still be a bit chilly...
What's most delightful at this time! is the convenience store in the plum grove, which offers hot oden.
Enjoying the plum blossoms, eating hot oden, and having a cup of sake for flower viewing... it's truly blissful.
The plum grove also sells plum matcha and many other plum-related souvenirs.
Only take off masks temporarily for photos.
If you're really hungry, we recommend 'JO-TERRACE OSAKA' at Osaka Castle Park.
There are stylish restaurants and cafes where you can slowly enjoy a meal and tea.
There are also takoyaki shops and sandwich shops offering takeout—you can buy some and picnic under the plum trees, which is also wonderful!
At the JO-TERRACE OSAKA information desk and specialty shops, you can get a map of the plum grove.
