The 11th facility of Hoshino Resorts' urban sightseeing hotel brand 'OMO', 'OMO7 Osaka by Hoshino Resorts', will officially open on April 22, 2022. Located near the vibrant Shinsekai area, which is rich in Osaka's unique atmosphere, and the convenient Shin-Imamiya Station, it is the best choice for urban sightseeing. Osaka has nurtured countless unique cultures, boasting a wealth of distinctive local cuisine such as takoyaki and kushikatsu. OMO7 Osaka is based on the concept of 'Endless charm, Namba', hoping that visitors will feel 'This is Osaka!' and become captivated by its fascinating charm.

[Playful Guest Rooms]

OMO7 Osaka offers 436 guest rooms across 8 room types. One of the distinctive room types is the 'Idobata Room' (6-person room), which features an 'OSAKA Board' map marking famous Osaka tourist attractions. Guests can chat and plan their trips around a spacious table and sofa, and the independent sleeping space is another highlight of this room type. Other distinctive rooms include the 'DAN DAN Room' (3-person room), which feels like staying in a secret base with a Japanese-style wooden loft, and the 'OMO House' (6-person room), equipped with a kitchen and a small dressing room.

ITOBATA Room (6 persons / 59㎡) DAN DAN Room (3 persons / 29.6㎡) OMO House (6 persons / 61.8㎡)

[OMO Base]

'OMO Base' is a public space designed to make your Osaka trip more enjoyable. With large floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of Osaka, guests can participate in events, read books, take commemorative photos in the photo area, and enjoy Osaka's local cuisine.

■ Go-KINJO Map

On the wall at the entrance of OMO Base, there is an 'OSAKA Board' approximately 6 meters wide and 4 meters high, depicting representative Osaka tourist attractions. The semicircular map drawn in the lower half of the board, centered on areas within walking distance, is the 'Go-KINJO Map'. Here, you can find recommended restaurants and nearby spots that staff have actually visited and discovered, which cannot be found in ordinary guidebooks.

[Experiences] Go-KINJO Activities

'Go-KINJO Activities' are a major feature of the OMO brand. Guided tours by 'OMO Rangers' (neighborhood guides), the 'Go-KINJO Map', and interactions with the warm-hearted people of Osaka allow guests to explore the unique characteristics of the area around the hotel. Guests can join staff on a 'Kushikatsu Tour', a 'Kansai Soup Stock Culture Tour' to taste the signature broths of various shops, or participate in 'Let's Go! Authentic Shinsekai' to discover hidden local spots while enjoying a walk through Osaka.

The number after OMO represents the scope of service. OMO7, as a full-service hotel, also offers a rich selection of dining options. There is the cafe 'OMO Cafe & Bar', where guests can enjoy Osaka cuisine from morning to night. Additionally, 'OMO Dining' offers creative dishes based on Osaka's food culture. Breakfast is served buffet-style, lunch is à la carte, and dinner is available à la carte or as a set menu. 'OMO Cafe & Bar' and 'OMO Dining' are open not only to hotel guests but also to outside visitors.

In front of the hotel, there is a spacious garden square called 'Miya Green', which is hoped to become a landmark where local residents and tourists gather, full of smiles. Next to Miya Green, there is a bathhouse available only to hotel guests. The exterior design of the bathhouse draws inspiration from Osaka's bathhouse culture of 'light and shadow', using 'silver-white' to represent the glamorous prosperity of Osaka as a city of merchants, and 'silver-black' to depict the black smoke that filled the city as a result of economic development.
