The Noto Satoyama Satoumi Museum is located in the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture. Opened in 2018, it is an experiential museum. Upon entering, you can see popular check-in spots in the Noto region on the floor. Inside the exhibition hall, you can see fish, fishing boats, various beautiful seashells, and you can touch and experience these specimens. Photography is allowed inside. You can also see the Kiriko Festival, where performers wear festival costumes and heavy lion heads, singing and dancing. The Noto Satoyama Satoumi Museum is a free experience hall. Here you can learn about local specialties, a variety of seashells (from infancy to adulthood, the growth process of shells), and local festival props. It is an ideal choice for niche, family-friendly, and in-depth travel!
