One of the core events, the “Midosuji Illumination,” transforms Osaka’s main thoroughfare, Midosuji, into a colorful and magnificent road of lights! The illumination stretches about 4 km, making it world-class in scale. To put it in subway station terms, it extends from Umeda Station to Namba Station. “Minami District Heartbeat Illumination & Food”

The core event of the Minami District is the “Namba Light Journey.” At the large complex Namba Parks in Namba, you can overlook the “Waterfall of Light” connecting the buildings. The 18-meter-long illumination waterfall cascading from the 9th floor to the 2nd floor glitters with a stunning blue glow, creating an impressive and moving sight. The views from surrounding hotels and buildings are also beautiful! Additionally, “Namba Square” will introduce seven other illumination spots in the Minami District and Osaka Hikari Renaissance events.

This year’s Christmas theme at GRAND FRONT Osaka is “Infinity Lights”!

As the theme suggests, this Christmas illumination embodies the wishes of diverse people gathered in the Umeda Kita area as “infinite light,” bringing brilliance and emotion to all who visit.

At the Knowledge Plaza on the 1st floor of the North Building, a giant Christmas tree about 10 meters tall, “Infinity Wish Tree,” makes its appearance, blooming with kaleidoscopic colors! The tree’s interior lights continuously change colors, making you feel as if you’ve entered a magical kaleidoscope world—a dreamlike, sparkling light show♪

In addition, the area around Umeda Kita Square is adorned with a champagne-gold sea of light made of about 250,000 LED bulbs.
