Toronto Chartered Tour: In-depth Eastern Canada, Chasing Maple Leaves, Quebec Goblin
I go to Eastern Canada every month. Personally, I think Eastern Canada is the most beautiful place in all of Canada. Eastern Canada is more than just Quebec. After each trip to Eastern Canada, I constantly iterate and upgrade the itinerary to provide a better experience for my clients, including local cuisine and niche attractions. The Eastern Canada itinerary covers Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Mont-Tremblant, Quebec City, the Thousand Islands, and Kingston. Along the way, I design many interesting hidden-gem spots. The trip is comfortable and flexible, ensuring enough time to explore each city. This time, I customized a 7-day in-depth girls' trip to Eastern Canada for a pair of sisters.
Day 1: Toronto → Ottawa. Afternoon: visit the National Gallery of Canada to immerse in art. Tour Parliament Hill and stroll along the Rideau Canal, enjoying the canal views. Have dinner at ByWard Market.
Day 2: Ottawa → Mont-Tremblant. La Sandwicherie Café + Bistro: a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a latte and a French croissant to start the day on a good note. Morning: hike to enjoy fall foliage and immerse in nature. Recommended trail: La Roche Trail, offering colorful maple leaves and lake views along the way—definitely a visual feast in autumn.
Day 3: Mont-Tremblant → Montreal. Climb Mount Royal for a panoramic view of the city. Visit Notre-Dame Basilica and stroll through the Old Port of Montreal.
Day 4: Montreal → Quebec City. Depart for Quebec City. Afternoon: explore Petit-Champlain and Château Frontenac. Walk around the Fairmont Château Frontenac hotel. On the first floor, there is the mailbox where the little bride in "Goblin" mailed letters. Go to Parc du Bastion-de-la-Reine to overlook Old Quebec—this is also the filming location of the cemetery in "Goblin." Stroll through Old Quebec to feel the history. Visit the Christmas shop from "Goblin": La Boutique de Noël de Québec.
Day 5: In-depth tour of Quebec City. Morning: visit the Plains of Abraham. Afternoon: explore Montmorency Falls.
Day 6: Thousand Islands → Kingston. Take a boat tour along the Thousand Islands. Lunch can be had in the Thousand Islands town or Kingston town. Kingston is known as the oldest city in Canada, famous for its historical sites and cultural attractions. Afternoon: wander through Kingston City Hall and don't miss the popular ice cream shop.
