Steep Cape and Scenic Bay – A Fairy Mountain

Mount Laoshan, located in eastern Qingdao, Shandong Province, was known in ancient times as Lao Mountain, Lao Shan, or Ao Shan. It is the highest peak along China’s coastline, celebrated as the “First Mountain on the Sea.” It is also one of China’s famed scenic mountains, praised as the “First Fairy Mountain on the Sea.”
