"Family Trip" Passionate Summer Date in Qingdao
Passionate summer, blazing sun, birds chirping among cicadas, July, the transparent blue sky, hanging a fireball-like sun, clouds seem to have been burned away by the sun, vanishing without a trace. The coastal city, the summer sunset drapes the horizon in a colorful veil, summer nights, stars twinkle in the sky, bursts of cool breeze dispel the lingering heat of the day, the earth is silent.
With leisure on holidays, our family had a chance to steal half a day's rest. Friends' warm invitation and children's anticipation became our motivation to head to Qingdao. Although the distance to Qingdao is not far, it was our first time embarking on the journey to seek Qingdao. The 2-hour trip shortened the distance between us and the city. Thanks to the rapid development of our country and society, the speed of high-speed rail allowed us to reach Qingdao quickly. Our friends made arrangements for our itinerary in Qingdao. For the three-day trip, our friends chose the Qingdao Licang Blue Horizon Hotel, which is just a few minutes' walk from their home. The hotel has a good reputation and reviews. Led by our friends, we went to the front desk to check in. As soon as we entered the lobby, we could feel the warm service. Just as we reached the door, the staff came out to welcome us and helped with luggage. The front desk receptionists, seeing that we had a child, gave the child a small toy, making the child especially happy. Though the item was not valuable, it showed the hotel's thoughtful service. The front desk worked very efficiently, and we went to our room after checking in. The room looked very cozy and comfortable, with fruits, children's toiletries, toys, etc. After a short rest in the room, our friend took us to dine. Since it was our first time, we had no experience and followed our friend's advice. The friend said the hotel had a buffet worth trying. So we went with a tasting mindset. Upon entering, we found a rich variety of dishes, a complete selection of seafood, fruits, desserts, drinks, beverages, stir-fried dishes, and meat, all with great taste.
The next day's itinerary was definitely taking the children to the Underwater World, to let them explore the mysteries of the ocean and understand the development and evolution of various marine animals.
Popular internet-famous spots could not be missed: Wheat Island and University Road are great places for photos.
After a day of play, we were too tired. In the evening, we did not ask our friends to entertain us. We casually walked around the hotel's vicinity. There was a huge pedestrian street nearby with various foods, entertainment items, daily necessities, and clothing, very convenient for foodies.
On the third day, we drove to Laoshan Mountain. We experienced the last coastal highway of Qingdao, with steep cliffs on both sides and rolling waves of the sea. We must say the scenery was truly beautiful, especially at sunset when the afterglow shimmered on the waves, and the leisurely clouds left shadows over the calm water.
The three-day trip came to an end. That evening, we took the train back. Although the time was short, and beautiful journeys are always fleeting, the gains we got were beyond words.
