Graduation Season - Meeting in Qingdao 2021
After years of hard study, preparing for the college entrance exam, to welcome an important baptism in life. Every June is a season of sadness for students. Time flows like water in a blink of an eye. They are already familiar with the school they attend, and have trust in their teachers. Like spring breeze and rain, nourishing silently. The colors of life look back over the years. The children set sail in the rays of dawn. Your journey in life has only just begun.
The end of the college entrance exam signifies that the students have completed a major event in their lives, giving them a respite from the tension and pressure of life. In the days leading up to the exam, because we were not from the city center, we needed to come to the city to take the exam. In order to ensure our child had enough rest time and to relax, we booked a hotel in the city center early on. The hotel we booked was the Qingdao Licang Blue Horizon Hotel. We noticed this hotel online, and its reputation online was quite good. Now let me briefly introduce this hotel. The hotel has a superior geographical location, close to the business district. The exterior looks very high-end and upscale (maybe because I haven't seen much of the world). Most importantly, the hotel has convenient parking, with two parking levels. We came early to avoid disturbing the child's rest, so this time we booked a double bed so both of us could rest well. When we entered the lobby, a handsome young man took the initiative to help us carry our luggage and greeted us. When we checked in at the front desk, the staff learned that we were here for the college entrance exam and proactively arranged a quiet room for us. Although it was a small gesture, we felt warm inside. The room was spacious and bright, and they even gave us fruit. The young man who escorted us to the room took the initiative to explain how to use the items in the room and other areas of the hotel. Honestly, the hotel service was good, warm and comfortable without being pretentious. After a short rest, we went out to eat. There was a variety of food around the hotel to satisfy both my and my child's appetites. Since we had the exam tomorrow, we didn't wander too much and returned to the hotel. When we got back, we gave the child a surprise: the room had prepared stationery and milk, and there was a special thank-you note (the note said: 'Wishing the student success in the exam and a place on the honor roll'). At the Blue Horizon Hotel, we experienced the warmth and thoughtfulness of home. Time always flies. The child's exam ended smoothly, allowing him to relax a bit. Taking advantage of this rare opportunity to be here, we decided to stay a few more days and planned to take the child out to have some fun and relieve his mind...
After saying all that, it's time to take the child to relax. I arranged a trip to Laoshan to see the mountains and taste some farmhouse food. The main reason for choosing to hike was to exercise the child's willpower and make him understand that you can't give up halfway. Laoshan didn't look tall, but actually climbing it was quite tiring. The process was hard, but the feeling of climbing high and looking far was wonderful.
Besides climbing the mountain, we also went to Zhanqiao, May Fourth Square, and Yan'er Island Park to have a look.
The few days' itinerary ended with accompanying the child through the college entrance exam. When we left, the hotel staff also introduced that the hotel is now launching a graduation season event, including class reunions, appreciation banquets for teachers, etc.
