Plaza Premium Group Creates a Seamless One-Stop Airport Experience at Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport

Hong Kong - Media OutReach - August 27, 2021 - Plaza Premium Group (hereinafter referred to as "Plaza Premium"), a global pioneer in airport services, in partnership with Qingdao International Airport Group Co., Ltd. and Capital Airports VIP Service Management Co., Ltd., has launched the first integrated land-air premium airport experience at the newly opened Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport (Jiaodong Airport). The comprehensive, dedicated services and facilities include: four Plaza Premium Lounges, Aerotel Airport Hotel, and an array of airport concierge services, covering VIP and guest full-process services, fast-track check-in, baggage check-in, and private meeting room service. As Qingdao's first 4F-class airport and a new transportation hub in Northeast Asia, Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport spans 478,000 square meters. Following five years of construction and an investment of RMB 36.093 billion, it is expected to handle up to 35 million travelers annually.
This new integrated land-air one-stop airport service project comprises two areas: a three-storey multi-functional VIP complex connected to the central part of Terminal E pier, and three Plaza Premium Lounges on the third floor of the terminal. The multi-functional VIP complex provides one-stop airport concierge services within 6,500 square meters, encompassing dining, versatile relaxation spaces, reception services, customized VIP and guest full-process services, and airport accommodation. The Plaza Premium VIP Building operated by Qingdao Plaza Premium Airport Services Management Co., Ltd. at Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport.

A seamless land-air one-stop premium service experience at the Plaza Premium VIP Building
1F: Featuring 11 VIP lounges and business meeting rooms, providing private spaces and high-end airport services for discerning corporate travelers. Services include check-in and baggage check-in, apron shuttle service, and fast-track security, offering an exclusive full-process service for domestic departing passengers.
2F: Award-winning Plaza Premium Lounge services. The 2,673-square-meter lounge features a public dining area, three private dining rooms, four tea rooms with souvenirs, a bar (Aerobar), massage services, and individual workstations.
3F: Qingdao Aerotel Airport Hotel is located on the third floor of the VIP building, just under a 2-minute walk from the nearest security checkpoint. To meet the accommodation needs of different travelers, the hotel has 54 rooms in four room types, most equipped with quality bedding, a choice of pillows, soft lighting, powerful showers, high-speed Wi-Fi, and IPTV, fulfilling the promise of 'a good sleep at the airport.' Guests can also access leisure facilities on the first and second floors and enjoy a variety of local and international cuisine at the restaurant.
Domestic travelers can start a relaxing journey at the Plaza Premium Lounges
Inside the brand-new terminal, travelers can also use the pay-per-use Plaza Premium Lounges: V1 Lounge at the base of Pier A, V3 Lounge east of the central landscaped area, and V4 Lounge west of the central landscaped area. Services such as fast-track, dining options, shower facilities, private rest areas, and concierge services vary by lounge.
The unique airport experience at Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport commenced operations on August 12, 2021. All services can be booked via the Plaza Premium Lounge website and Aerotel website, or through partner distribution channels and platforms. Since 2019, the group has opened an Aerotel at Beijing Daxing International Airport and recently introduced its first high-speed rail lounges in Changsha, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen.
